Chapter 5: A Kind Person

I was in Hatori's office when Hatori picked me up at Shigure Sensei's House his reaction at my black hair was priceless

"huh what happened to you" he looked at my black hair his face was a mixture of shock and cufusion at my newly dyed black hair

He held the bridge of his nose and pinch it

"I only left for a day and here I am seeing you with black hair" He look at me with disappointment

I look down on the ground feeling guilty for my past decisions

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to burden you I lost a game of 'poor man and rich man' and the punishment was to dye my hair I decided to dye my hair in black because you had black hair and I thought it would be nice to look like you Ni-san I think it would look pretty on me and make me look normal" I rambled my reasons

Hatori sigh and soften his gaze on me "You don't have to change your hair color to be my sister you already are my sister and your already beautiful and normal in my eyes" He said patting my head

Tohru looks awestruck at how me and Hatori interact with one another she smiled at us

"Bye Ms. Honda, Bye Kyo kun and Yuki kun, and Bye Sensei I had a great time here" I said waving happily at them and they waved back I held Ni-san's hand we held each others hands before going down the stairs to the car

Meanwhile in Shigure's house

"Now that you mentioned it they look like siblings" Shigure stated Yuki and Kyo nodded in agreement

"ehh?? You mean they aren't siblings" Tohru said shocked

"no they don't, Kure-Chan started living with Hatori when her mother died" Shigure stated

Tohru felt sad when she heard of it she wanted to cheer her up because both of them lost their mother so she felt a connection she would try her best for them to be friends

I sat reading my book in the living room I went to Ni-san's desk and took a portrait of a beautiful lady smiling widely I stare at her for seconds

When I felt a hand on my shoulder I looked at the owner of the arm and saw Hatori looking at me worried

"Are you ok" He asked me a hint of concern in his face

"I'm fine I just miss her" I said and put the picture back at his desk he hugged me to comfort me I hugged him back

"You shouldn't have insisted me to erase all of her memories you both had you saw her as your mother" He said clearly concern about my state

"It's not like I want her to forget about me Ni-San but it would be very unfair I know Ms. Kana would visit me every time even though she is not your assistant anymore and that would be unfair for you" I said he hugged me tighter and kissed the top of my head

"You always think about others before yourself, You should be selfish from time to time" He said I shook my head

"it's fine I don't want the people I care about get hurt especially you Hatori Ni-San" I said smiling at him

He looked at me and said "Ms. Tohru Honda would come here" I look at him I was supposed to ask him about her memories but he cut me off

"Akito didn't order me to erase her memories " he said

"Then why"

"I want her to stay away from the Sohma's I don't want her to end up like Kana I don't want her to regret so I would warn her about our cursed family" he stated

"I never thought of it that way I thought it would be great for her to be there to make Yuki and Kyo feel better but I was selfish to think that way without seeing the consequences if she knew deeper about our family I'm selfish to think that way to currupt a kind girl like her" I said covering my face with my hands

"both of you are kind in a cruel world like ours" Hatori muttered under his breath

We heard the door opened we went to the front door and saw Momiji and Ms. Honda but she looks very exhausted

"Welcome" Hatori said "Did the walk tire you" he asked seeing Ms. Honda in her state

"I should prepare a cup of tea" I said I look at Momiji "Would you like to help me Momiji kun" I said he agreed happily Momiji loves helping me with house chores like cleaning, cooking  and preparing a cup of tea for a visitor

We both made green tea it's one of my favorite tea I prepared the tray and put 4 cups of tea and Momiji gladly carried the tray we saw Tohru looking  at the portrait of Kana in Ni-san's table

"Ms. Honda" I called for her she shriek at my presence "I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout at you" she said

"I should be  the one saying that I was the one who startled you at my presence" I apologize at her

We saw Hatori behind us we sat on the chairs in the living room I was sitting next to Momiji at the couch

Hatori started warning Ms. Honda about our family me and Momiji listen to him with our heads hung low we heard a knock on the door

Hatori excused his self to answer the door

"Harry doesn't mean no harm Tohru" said Momiji "Yeah he is right Ni-San doesn't want you to get hurt and traumatized that you would regret meeting us" I said sadly Tohru look at me confused

"He used to have a Girlfriend her name was Kana she was very nice i saw her as my mother they dated
they also got engaged but when they ask permission to get married Akito got violent and injured Hatori's left eye but he still didn't blame Akito for that so Kana blamed everything on herself and kept apologizing that it turned into a mental illness so Hatori erase her memories when they were in love it made her feel better Kana left and Harry was crying but even then Harry never blame Akito" Momiji said while sitting on balcony while telling the story he was holding his knees tightly

"he doesn't want you to end up like her" I said

"Harry wasn't the only one who got hurt because they fell in love" Momiji said he look at me I look at him in cunfusion he hung his head low

I comforted Momiji while he was telling the story he looks sad so I  hugged him to make him feel better

Both of us see Kana as a mother we never had

We heard Tohru crying on the floor we looked at her worried we kneel down next to her

"I would never regret meeting the Sohma's thare the reason who I am right now I would never regret meeting Shigure san, Sohma kun and Kyo kun" she said while crying unending tears

"What about me are you glad meeting me" Momiji said "of course I'm glad, I'm glad at meeting you Momiji kun you too Kurenai Chan" said smiling

"Why would you be glad we hardly met we still don't know about each other so why would you be glad meeting me" I said to her she took my hand and held it tightly

"I know we hardly know each other Kurenai Chan but I see you as very kind and beautiful person because of how you tend to people. When you comforted Yuki and Kyo when they got startled at Hana Chan, when you read Shigure san's book when no one wanted read it and how you could make Hatori san smile for a slight moment and when you hugged Momiji kun to make him feel better while he was telling the story and when you got worried at me living in Shigure's house I may not know you that well but I see you as a kind and loving person so I want to know more about you so I wanted to be your friend Kurenai Chan!! " she shouted at me I was shock at what she said no one has ever been this passionate to be my friend

She realized what she said and blushed

" I'm so sorry I didn't mean to shout at you... "she said rambling incoherent words of apologies I chuckle at her she looked at me it was the first time seeing me smile at her the real one

"I'm glad to be friends with you Ms. Honda I also want to know more about you" I said smiling at her happily

I will cherish a kind and loving girl like you
