I rolled my eyes at her text. typical
Me- sure thing. I'll be there in 5
I pulled out of the gym parking lot and drove to Starbucks
We were finally done with high school. After graduation, Karlissa wanted to spend the summer in Los Angeles as it was her last year as a teenager. So our whole friend group (ethan, Aiza, Armaan, Jax, Niall, Delilah) are spending our last summer together as we'll soon drift off to our colleges.
Aiza, karlissa, and I got to NYU so we'll stay together. Delilah and Niall were attending the university somewhere together (I didn't bother asking) and ethan being the sneaky smart ass got into yale. (Along with Armaan but that wasn't a surprise as he was always the smart one)
Jax decided to come along to catch up with Karlissa and her parents. Grace couldn't come as she wasn't old enough to live without her parents. The fight between Karlissa's mom and Kevin was still going on. But it's good that they didn't force their personal fight to tear apart their kid's relationship
I get Karlissa's usual order and drive to her place where everyone is staying.
I'll give it to her parents that they have the patience to tolerate all of us- if it was my house I would've left my own home and would've slept on the park bench
I walk in and immediately get tackled down to the ground (no joke)
"Oh my sweet drink- gimme gimme gimme" Karlissa snatched her drink and drank almost half of it in one sip
"Woah Woah slow down" I warn and take away her drink
She pouts and punches my chest trying to take her to drink back "give it back! I haven't had any caffeine all day"
Yeah last night ethan broke their coffee machine (he paid for it tho)
"You will go into crazy mode if you finish that drink in less than an hour" I inform and held her drink above her head
"Levi Night you better give me my drink or else I will break up with you on the spot" she threatens
"Ooo she used your full name" Aiza snickered as she passed us and sat down on the couch opposite us
"Shut up" I glare at her. I wasn't looking and Karlissa decided to shake my hand causing the drink in my hand to fall to the ground
I snatched Karlissa's waist pulling her away so that the drink doesn't fall on her.
