Kokichi sat on his bed and thought for a moment, lately he had been feeling a bit off. It seemed he only felt that way while around Gonta. It wasn't an overwhelming feeling, but deep, deep inside his heart which felt like a cold, icy, dark cave forever winding, twisting, dropping, and rising it felt like a single candle would light it wasn't strong, god it wasn't even noticeable. But it was there, and it felt nice.
At the same time Gonta was having a similar question. It was as if he felt different when around Kokichi. He felt like a true gentleman. In his mind he couldn't even describe it. It just felt right.
Even though these feelings simmered inside the two, they chose to ignore them.
