If I could slow down this fleeting time, I would.

Hold the sun close to the horizon, freeze her smile if I could.

Feel every moment of it,

absorb every second of it,

If I could, I would.

I would cherish the sweet scented smell of her simple soul. Memorise how her face glows drenched in this sunset gold.

If I could slow down this fleeting time, I would. But, only if I could...

I would do this not to cherish a moment of joy, or to have a good laugh, but to memorise it for a later use.

I will recall this moment when I'll be old. When My hair would be silver and

my teeth would've fallen.

My breath would be gasping and my face would be sagging.

Yet the heart would still be beating for the last time, coz life would've almost ran its course.

Then I shall recall this sunset and her smile...

But man is not the being around whom the universe revolves, this law is but a universal one, it cannot be dissolved.

For once you could control the weather, could control the light.

But time is not a coward commander who would surrender his might.

He is but a determined traveller with a goal in his sight. Sight where his destiny resides.

That's the unfortunate harsh reality of life.

Yet I will say,

If I could slow down this fleeting time, I would...
