Aidan's POV
I just moved out of my parents house to an apartment I start unpacking then I hear glass break from the apartment above me I blow it off then I hear an voice that sounds like crying I have to make sure everything okay I go to the elevator and go to the second floor I nock on her door an beautiful girl with y/h/c her eyes all puffy

"Hi I'm Aidan "I say she looks at me

"Hi I'm y/n"she says

"So um I hear glass shatter I was wondering if your okay"I say

"I think your ears are playing tricks on"she says sweating nervously

"Thanks for caring sir but I have to go back in"she says with an small sad smile

"I wish I could tell you about the noise but I didn't hear an thing it must of been the wind"she says I sigh

"Okay good night sorry to bother you"I say I walk back to my apartment and go to bed

The next day

I was laying of the floor of my apartment I just couldn't shake the feeling I didn't want to intrude but I know I don't have all the facts so I went to the elevator again I went to her door and nocked y/n opened it

"I'm sorry to bother you but um I did hear glass shatter I want to truth"I say

"I think your ears are playing tricks on you thanks for caring sir that's nice of you but I have to go back in I wish I could tell you about the noise but I didn't hear an think it must've been the wind"she says I sigh and nod I walk off

An month later
Me and y/n became friends but I don't thinks she's ready to talk to me about what happens in her apartment I often hear her crying and I hear glass break I'm so worried she's such an sweet girl I grab my radio and go up to the roof I play some music and sit on the edge watching the sunset I just wish she knew she can talk to me or if she needs an hug I'll let her I heard foot steps behind me I look back and see y/n she comes over I hold out my hand and help her sit on the edge I look at her in her eyes she looks at me in my eyes

"I promise I'm not playing tricks on you.your always welcome to come in you can stay with me for an hour or to if you ever need an friend we can talk about the noise when your ready but til then it must've been the wind "I say she smiles and lays her head on my shoulder I wrap one of my arms around her waist pulling her close I kiss her head we watch the sunset then go inside she was about to go to her apartment

"Hey y/n how about you come over stay the night maybe we can watch movies and drink"I say she looks at me

"Um sure"she walks in as i hold the door for her I tell her to go sit on the couch I get us snacks and two beers(Aidan is 22 in this so yeah)I set them down on the coffee table and open them I grab y/n hand she lays her head on my shoulder we stay like this and fall asleep

1 month later
Me and y/n are dating she moved in right after she told me what was going on so apparently her ex was crazy and abusive he had an key to her apartment so she moved in then we started dating I love her with all my heart
