Hope for the hopeless

Chapter 2

Owen woke up from his sleep on that very uncomfortable chair when Meredith came with coffee
"Having a hard time sleeping?" She asked and gave him his coffee
"Can you blame me?" He answered and took a long seep from his coffee
"I can't" she sighed. There was an awkward silent till Meredith said "The doctors think she slipped. When you know, she got her bleeding"
"I figured it" Owen said and tried to smile

"How with... What was her name?
"Robby" Owen said while he stretched
"Ya her" Meredith chuckled
"Fine you know... I think it's the time to end our things"
Meredith looked at him "I feel commitment to...." He couldn't say her name it was to painful "and I wanna be by her side, I don't think Robby will get it"
"I trust you" Meredith said "where Brayan is?"
Owen felt squeeze in his heart when he heard Brayan's name
"I called him, he said he is in an emergency surgery he will be here as soon as he can... Can I ask why we aren't transforming her to a hospital in Seattle?"
"Right now her doctors think she should stabilized here..."
And for the first time in there conversation Owen saw how much Meredith was hurt.

Owen wrapped his hand around her shoulders "she is going to be okay."
Meredith looked right at him with eyes full of tears "You think?" She asked
"Yeah" he said and pulled het into a hug and whispered to himself "she has to..."
