My steps echoed in the hall. They were soon followed by Bakugou as he chased after me. I ignored his voice, pulling my hoodie down over my head. He caught me, making me stop as he pulled me back.
“Katsuki, let me go.”
“Where are you going?” He demanded. “It’s almost fucking midnight, dumbass.”
“I’m going back home. Your internet doesn’t have the access to the information in my world. I need to do some research back on Tonho,” I held the chip up. “I’m going to find out why the League of Villains had this, and why it’s so important.”
“That can wait until morning,” He growled.
“If I wait until morning, all the information could be deleted. I have no idea if there is some kind of mechanism that will automatically erase everything on this when the case is broken,” I said. “I have to do this. I’ll be back in the morning.”
“No,” Bakugou hissed. “Goddammit.”
“Katsuki, let go--”
“I’m coming with you then,” He said. “There could be tracker in that thing. If you go alone, you could get killed.”
I grinned, pulling him with me. “What’s the matter, Katsu? Scared your soulmate can’t take care of herself?”
“I know for a fact you can’t,” He scoffed. “And don’t call me that.”
“Too bad. It’s already stuck, Katsu,” I said. “We need to get over the gate without alerting the school.”
“Come---what are you doing?” He asked.
“Don’t just stand there, give me a boost!” I said, throwing my bag over the wall. “Hurry up, Katsuki!”
“Didn’t take you for the type to climb walls,” He said, making a cradle with his palms.
“Yeah, well, gym class pays off, I guess,” I said, stepping into his hand as he pushed me up. I grabbed onto the ledge, pulling myself up.
“Don’t drop!” Bakugou hissed, making me look down.
“Who the fuck puts thorn bushes right there?” I muttered. I turned my head, my eyes widening at the image I caught.
