A Slytherin Romance - Regulus Black and Astrid Potter.

chapter 2

Astrid POV -

I opened my eyes to my brother James, already in his robes shaking me awake, I groans and say
"if you want to keep that hand I suggest you get it off me" he rolls his eyes and says
"Come on Astrid I'll take you to the bathroom so you can change in to your robes, we will be at Hogwarts soon" I grab my robes and follow James to a bathroom where I go in to and change into my robes.

When I'm done I opened the door and see James waiting, we then head back to the compartment and everyone is already wearing their robes.

After about ten more minutes the train stop and we grab our luggage and get off the train James says
"Come on Astrid, because your new you have to go with the first years, come over here and I'll introduce you to Hagrid, he will be bringing you to the school, after the sorting ceremony you will sit with your house and eat so after that, I will find you".

James walk me over to a really tall man with really fuzzy hair and a beard, he introduces me
"Hi Hagrid this is my little sister Astrid she is joining this year but she has to get sorted with the first years so Professor McGonagall told me to bring her to you" Hagrids then puts his hand out for me to shake he says
" Hi Astrid nice to meet ya" I put my hand out to shake his hand and say
" Hi Hagrid nice to meet you too" I offer him a small smile I then turn to James and he says "Ok Astrid I have to go but I'll see you later, you will be ok" and hugs me I hug back and say "Ok bye James" we then pull away and he walks off to the carriage I turn back to Hagrid and he say
"Ok come on follow me Astrid right over her" I then follow him and we walk over all the first years getting in boats I walk over to one with just two first years in it a boy with brown hair and brown eyes and a girl with blonde hair and green eyes I offer them a smile and the boats begin moving across the water.

After a couple of minutes we all get out of the boat and walk over to stand out side the great hall we stand for a few minute until a lady with a witches hat comes and introduces herself
"Hello students my name is Professor McGonagall, before the feast begins you will be sorted sorted in to your houses their is Gryfindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin after you are sorted you will join your house and eat with them after that your house prefect will show you to your common rooms, okay student now form a line and follow me" every one stands in a line and Professor McGonagall opens the doors and we begin to walk in.

I look around and see four long table full with students in different colours robes on the third row of tables sits my brother James with his friends he smiles at me and waves I smile and wave back.

We walk up to the top of the hall and McGonagall pulls out a scroll of paper and begins putting the brown hat in her hand on people head and sorting people in to their houses.

When it's finally my turn I take a deep breath and sit on the brown stool and the hat is placed on my head it says
" HMM DIFFICULT VERY DIFFICULT IN DEED, I KNOW JUST WHERE TO PUT YOU, SLYTHERIN" I'm shocked and look over to my brother who looks shocked aswell but offers me a small smile I then stand up and walk over to the table who is cheering.

J walk over and sit beside a girl with a girl with dark skin and curly black hair she looks at me and smiles, she puts her had out for me to shake and says
"I'm Halle Robert's nice to meet you" I smile back and shake her hand
"I'm Astrid Potter nice to meet you too" we begin to chat and eat when the feast is done i meet James who smiles and gives me a small hug and says
"I have to go to my common room but i will see you tomorrow" I nod then walk back to Halle who is waiting on me, we begin to head to the Slytherin common room where she shows me where I will be staying I thank her and get ready for bed, I hop in to bed and sigh and letting my eyes flutter closed.
