Chief Tui: Ari!
Rua: (Y/N)!

The wave paused, fixed the girl's hair. While doing that the flower falls, the wave quickly places it behind her ear perfectly. The the wave uses a long wooden piece and floated them back to the shore. They both end up dropping the shell and the stone as they try to keep their balance.
Their fathers comes running towards the kids and picks them up.

Chief Tui: Oh, there you are. What are you doing? You scared me.
(Y/N): Dad, let me go.
Ari: Fun, I wants go back.
Chief Tui: I know, I know, but you don't go out there. It's dangerous.
Rua: The ocean is not a place for children it is dangerous.

A woman comes towards them. She takes (Y/N) in her arms.

(Y/N): Mama.
Vasa: Oh my little coconut, what were you and Ari doing here huh?
(Y/N): Play.
Vasa:-chuckles- Oh really.
(Y/N): Mama I am hungry.

The little girl says rubbing her tummy. Making the others giggle at her cuteness.

Vasa: So let's go home.
(Y/N): Bye uncle bye Ari.
Ari: Bye bye.

The family takes their leave. Tui places Ari down and holds his hands.

Chief Tui: Ari, come on... Let's go back to the village. You are the next great chief of our people.

Sina walks towards the father and son. She pick Ari up.

Sina: And you'll do wondrous things, my little minnow.

Plants a kiss on his forehead.

Chief Tui: Oh yes, but first, you must learn where you're meant to be.

Tui: Ari, make way, make way
Ari, it's time you knew
The village of Motunui is
All you need
The dancers are practicing
They dance to an ancient song
Dancers: (Who needs a new song? This old one's all we need)
Tui: This tradition is our mission
And Ari, there's so much to do (make way)
Villagers: Don't trip on the taro root
That's all you need
Rua: We share everything we make (we make)
We joke and we weave our baskets
Tui: The fishermen come back from the sea
Ari: I wanna see
Tui: Don't walk away
Ari, stay on the ground now
Our people will need a chief
And there you are
There comes a day
When you're gonna look around
Tui/Sina: And realize happiness is
Where you are
Vasa: Consider the coconut (the what?)
Consider its tree
We use each part of the coconut
That's all we need
Sina: We make our nets from the fibers
The water is sweet inside
We use the leaves to build fires
We cook up the meat inside
Rua: Consider the coconuts
The trunks and the leaves
The island gives us what we need
Ari: And no one leaves?
Tui: That's right, we stay
We're safe and we're well provided
And when we look to the future
There you are
You'll be okay
In time you'll learn just as I did
Rua/Vasa: You must find happiness right
Where you are.

Ari ran away from the village to the seashore, where his grandmother was dancing near the water. Tala bumped him with her hips making the boy giggle. (Y/N) who was passing by saw her best friend and her favourite Tala dancing she ran and joined them.

Tala: I like to dance with the water
The undertow and the waves
The water is mischievous
I like how it misbehaves
The village may think I'm crazy
Or say that I drift too far
But once you know what you like, well
There you are

Years later. It was now only Tala and Ari dancing as (Y/N) became busy with her younger brother who was born few years ago now 10.

Tala: You are your father's son
Stubbornness and pride
Mind what he says but remember
You may hear a voice inside
And if the voice starts to whisper
To follow the farthest star
Ari, that voice inside is
Who you are

Tala took Ari to the shore where the boats were. He was about to go near the boats when someone blocked him. The person turned out yo be Tui. He then cleared his throat, arms crossed.

Tui: Uh-huh.
Moana:-nervous- Dad! I was only looking at the boats. I wasn't gonna get on 'em.
Gramma: Mmm.
Tui: -sighs- Come on. There's something I need to show you.

Tui took Ari on top of a mountain, from where you could see the whole island.

Tui: I've wanted to bring you here from the moment you opened your eyes. This is a sacred place. A place of Chiefs. That will come a time when you will stand on this peak and place a stone on this mountain. Like I did. Like my father did. And his father, and every chief that has ever been.

Ari slowly moves his hand on the stones.

Tui: And on that day, when you add your stone, you will raise this whole island together. You are the future of our people, Moana. And they are not out there. They are right here. It's time to be who they need you to be.

Ari looks at the island.

Tui: Each chief should have a great woman beside him. A strong, carring, helpful, loving, determined woman who could understand you and the villagers. Who can help you lead the people, and who would be perfect by your side. There are many girls on the island. The daughter of Vehirlo and Harriet, beautiful woman with the strength of a lion Tanya. The lovely Rea and Nika.

Ari just rolled his eyes But then.

Tui: Oh look (Y/N). She is also perfect. She is strong, smart, beautiful, brave, helpful and

Tui glares at Ari, who was lovingly look at the girl, red.

Tui: And she can be a perfect match for you.

Ari starts getting redder ever second.

Ari: Umm papa I guess mom is calling me. I gotta go. Runs away.

Tui: Finally you found a perfect girl.

Tui:  And no one leaves!
Ari: So here I'll stay! My home, my people beside me, and when I think of tomorrow.
All: There we are!
