*5 days later*Jack's p.o.v*

I had my coffee 'date' with Zach 4 days ago and now we are on a real date, I really like him and I want to ask him out tonight

Za: thank you so much for this date that food was amazing
Ja: I'm happy we could do this, I want to ask your something
Za: what is it?
Ja: will you be my boyfriend?
Za: yes, I would love too
Ja: why don't you come over tonight
Za: um I-
Ja: omg, not like that, I have kids in my house, no, come meet my kid properly
Za: oh, yes that sounds great

We both get in my car and I drive to my house. We pull into the drive way and I see my boys looking out the window when I enter with Zach they both come running

Co: Papa, Papa, upie, upie! I pick him up
Jo: Hi Papa, why is Zach here
Ja: lets go to the living room

We all sit down and Zach sits next to me with Jonah on my other side and Corbyn on my lap. Gabbie came in the room and saw how nervous I was, I was about to tell my kids I'm dating someone who isn't Daniel

Ja: So Zach is here because he's my um boyfriend. Gabbies Jaw dropped then smiled
Jo: Oh what about Daddy? Do you still love him?
Ja: of course I do Jo, but I can be with someone else as well, Daddy would want me to be happy, and Zach makes me happy
Jo: No! I want Daddy!
Za: Hey Jonah, I am in no way trying to take your Daddy's place
Jo: yes you are, Papa no love daddy anymore because of you
Ja: Jonah thats enough, you don't speak to people like that, and I already said I still love Daddy
Ga: Jonah lets get ready for bed, I can take corbyn if you want?
Ja: no thanks gabs, I'll put the little bean to bed, Jonah go with Gabbie

Jonah and Gabbie left the room, I faced Zach

Ja: I'm so sorry, he's never like that
Za: no its okay, can I ask what happened tho?
Ja: just over a year ago my husband passed away due to lung cancer
Za: I am so sorry Jack, can I go talk to Jonah?
Ja: yeah sure, I have to put corby to bed anyways

*Zach's p.o.v*

I walked into Jonah's room and saw the woman known as Gabbie trying to get him to sleep

Za: hey, mind if I help?
Ga: you can try
Za: great

I sit on his bed and pat the seat beside me. He looks kinda mad at me but sits anyways. I turn and face him

Za: hey Jonah. He looked away
Za: I would like it if you looked at me. He looked back at me with tears in his eyes
Za: hey why are you crying?
Jo: B-because P-papa forget-t abo-ut D-addy
Za: I can promise you, he will never forget, he loves your Daddy and always will
Jo: b-but what ab-out you, y-your here n-now
Za: yeah I am, but I will never take your Daddy's place, okay?

I wiped his tears and pulled him on my lap. He layed his head on my chest and I knew he was tired. I began to sing (Song At The Top)

I looked down and saw he was sleeping so I put him under the covers and went to leave the room. I saw Jack at the door with the biggest smile on his face. I walked out of the room and closed the door
