these contented masses
bask in communal apathy
wallow in a mindless majority
and claim absolute superiority
it is the right way simply
because it is the accepted
and the other can stand alone
becasue they have to attone
for the sin of being unique
for standing up - and out
apparently they are wrong
for taking a drum, beating a new song
but you know we don't care
you can no longer intimidate with that aging glare
