Irene and her parents sit in the living room at their house. As expected, her father wanted to talk to her about the marriage. Irene already expect it from the start after her father told her to gather at living room after their dinner

"Daddy, please understand me. I don't want to marry with Kim Taehyung" Irene speak with serious tone and expression

"Irene, we're doing this for your own sake. He is the best for you. We want him to be your husband" Mr. Bae said

"But for what dad, mom? I still can't accept your reasoning. I don't understand dad, mom...why both of you try hard to force me to marry him. You know my decision is final and no one can change it in whatever condition. Please understand me. I am old enough to make my own decision"

"Rene, daddy and mommy only want you to be with a good man. We trust him. We're doing this for you" Mrs. Bae hold her daughter hand softly

"Not because of business?" Irene snarl when she saw her parent expression change

"Are you doubting us?" Mr. Bae stare at his daughter sharply

"I just wondering" Irene chuckle mocking her father

"Whatever happens, you must marry Taehyung. I don't care if I have to force you"

"Whatever happens, I will never marry that guy. Saying his name already makes me feel nauseated. I will die young if I really end up with him. You can force me, dad but remember, I have nothing to lose"

"Irene!" Mr. Bae yell

"Taeyeon, calm down" Mrs. Bae glare at her husband because she don't like it when he shout at their daughter

Irene don't budge when her father raise his voice "If you two really desperate want to have him as family member, why not both of you adopt him or just marry with him or even better, mommy pregnant again then ask your new child to be his wife" she can see her parents holding their anger because of her words

She decides to leave them but not before speaking for the last time "Momma, dad...this is our house so don't come and go like this is a hotel. You two are old already so please lessen your overseas trip. Our money is enough to survive for another thousands of years. Don't need to dig deeper. Don't be greedy. Money can't buy everything, especially family. I heard from your assistant that momma passed out twice because of exhaustion and jet-lag. Don't push yourself too much. You two maybe don't care about me but I do care about both of you. You know, every day your assistant will keep me updated about your condition when you two are abroad. Our relationship maybe shaking because of the stupid marriage arrangement or we never have tight relationship from the start but both of you are my priority. You two are only family I have so please take care of yourself"

She leaves to her room without turning back. In her bedroom, she lazes on the couch at the balcony and calls Seulgi through video call. After few beep, Seulgi face appear on screen

"Hello dearest Joohyun" Seulgi waving childishly

"Hello Seul" Irene answer weakly

"Hey, what with that frowning face? Do you have a problem or you are not feeling well?"

"I'm upset because of mommy and daddy!"

"Why?"

"They still forcing me to marry that stupid guy. Daddy wanted to force me if I don't listen to him"

"How do you react?"

"Of course I'm against it. I will never agree with that plan" Irene groan "They said he is the best for me but I know there is something behind this marriage. It not really for my future life"
