Kensi and Deeks were rushed to the hospital and Monty was surprisingly unharmed. The team arrested Aiden and all they wanted was Kensi and Deeks to be okay. Callen and Sam went to the hospital and stayed with them until they woke up. Callen stayed with Kensi and Sam stayed with Deeks. Deeks woke up four hours after his surgery but Kensi was still sleeping. She wasn't in a coma but her lack of sleep made her tired.
Kensi woke up in a hospital bed with Callen sitting next to her.
"Callen?" She coughed.
"Hey kens, How are you feeling?" He stood up.
"Sore. What happened? How long was I out?"
"Aiden crashed your car. We got him. A day"
"Where's Deeks? Is he okay?"
"He is fine. He woke up a few hours after surgery and now he is sleeping. Sam is with him"
"I want to see him"
"Kens, you just woke up"
"Callen, I need to see him"
"okay"
Callen lifted her bridal style out of the bed and put her standing up. She almost fell but Callen caught her.
"I can't stand"
"okay"He carried her out of her room. She had one arm around Callen's neck and one she had her drip in the other hand. Callen opened the door and they saw Sam sitting on the chair next to a sleeping deeks. Sam stood up and walked over to Callen and Kensi.
"Hey, How you feeling?"
"Sore. Is he okay?" She asked looking at Deeks.
"yeah, he's fine"
Deeks woke up and looked at Kensi and smiled.
"Hey Fern"
Callen brought Kensi over to Deeks and put her on his bed. She took his hand and looked into his eyes.
"we will be outside" Callen said.
Callen and Sam walked out and Kensi kissed Deeks.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"yeah, are you?"
"yeah."
"what happened to monty?" She asked.
"He wasn't hurt. He's at the boatshed"
Kensi ripped the drip out of her hand and looked at Deeks.
"you shouldn't have done that" Deeks gave her a worrying look.
"I'm fine and it was annoying"
"Okay but if you are in pain, will you tell me?"
"yeah and will you tell me?"
"of course"
Kensi rested her head on his chest and he stroked her hair.
"Why does everyone in my family want to kill me?"
"Am I family?"
"yeah, why?"
"I don't want you to die"
"Thanks babe"
Kensi looked at his bruised face and kissed him. She brushed her fingers against one of the scars on his face.
"Does it hurt?"
"Not really. Does yours hurt?"
"No well only when I think about it"
Kensi put her head next to his on the pillow. He got his phone and went into his camera.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"I want a picture of the two of us with scars and cuts and bruises on our faces"
"You are so weird"
"yeah but you love me"
"I do"
He took a picture of the two of them and showed it to Kensi.
"I like it" Kensi smiled.
"me too"
Callen and Sam walked in and looked at Kensi and Deeks.
"I am going to assume that you are going to be sleeping here" Callen said to Kensi.
"yeah. It's a big bed"
"I will get your pillow" Sam said.
He walked out and Callen walked to the side of te bed.
"I knew you were tired" he smirked
Kensi smiled and Sam walked in with her pillow. He put it behind her head and Callen put his hand into his pocket and pulled out her phone. He handed it to her and she thanked him.
"we will come over tonight to check on you" sam said.
"thanks guys"
Sam and Callen walked out and Deeks faced Kensi with a disappointed look.
"what's wrong?"
"It's my fault that you are in here"
"No it's not"
""yes it is. I should have known that Aiden was the one who wanted me dead"
"He is your brother. There was no way that you would have known"
"I know but I should have took better care of you"
"Deeks we were both in the car"
"i know bu-"
"Deeks stop"
"I'm sorry Kens"
"It's okay"
A doctor walked in and saw Kensi and Deeks on the bed together.
"who are you?" the doctor asked Kensi.
"Kensi Blye"
"You need to go to your own room"
"why?"
"well every patient with serious injurys get a room to themselves"
"She is okay here" Deeks said.
"okay Mr.Deeks"
The nurse injected a liquid into his IV drip. The nurse walked out and Deeks looked at Kensi.
"what?" She asked.
"You are so beautiful"
Kensi smiled and kissed Deeks. Deeks sat up and he put his hand under his pillow. He pulled out a small velvet box and opened it.
"I was going to do when we got home and bring you out to dinner but it doesn't matter. Kensi Blye will you marry me?"
