Up soaring in the purple sunset - over the gleaming horizon,

Casting a shadow over the world - hiding the sun with its feathered wings,

Standing proud upon a mighty oak – Talons gripping with strength and power,

It’s Soaring! It’s Flying! It’s Free!

Eyes like boulders with a slight glimmer of light and glow,

Golden beak like a field of barley and wheat simmering,

Cry like a leader heading for war arranging his soldiers,

It’s Soaring! It’s Flying! It’s Free!

Through a waterfall and over a stream of rainbow water,

Nesting by a suburban rock on an uneven cliff face,

Drops down to its chicks and feeds a feast to help them grow strong,

The Eagle is soaring! The Eagle is flying! The Eagle is Free!
