"Ciel?"

Ciel was pulled from his reverie by Aurora's sweet voice. He leaned into her, burying his face into her side and feeling tears form in his eyes. Aurora's arm wrapped around him and she looked up at Sebastian, a little surprised at their adoptive son's sudden weakness. Sebastian finished packing before he returned to the bed and climbed in beside them both. Ciel sniffed. "Everything. I lost... everything. And now- he shows up and- and-" Sebastian looked a cross between appalled and shocked at Ciel as he started crying like a child. Aurora had shock written across her face, but quickly moved to hold Ciel close. "Ciel, Ciel, calm down. It isn't like you to give up." Ciel sniffled, "But it is! I became my brother for three years! You only know me as him! You only know Ciel!" He was sobbing now and Neither Sebastian nor Aurora could find a way to answer him. Sebastian gently (and very awkwardly), reached out and gently rubbed his back. "It's okay..." he said slowly, feeling incredibly awkward trying to soothe his young master and adoptive son. (He could feel Aurora's eyes burning into his back watching him attempt to calm their child). Aurora held Ciel close and shushed him. "Ciel, calm down. We will fix things." Ciel shook his head, crying. "I- I did what Ciel would have done! I did what I thought I should have done! What if I was wrong?!" That made the butler and maid freeze. Aurora sat back on her knees, thinking to herself while Sebastian rubbed the boy's back. Had it not been for Ciel... She might have died. Had it not been for this child contracting her demon by chance, she would have been slain that night. She would never have survived. Even with Undertaker- but the question now would be, if Ciel had not contracted Sebastian, would Undertaker still be in his place? Would she have become part of Undertaker's twisted plans? Would she have gone to Ciel and guarded him? Would she have even lived that long had there been no Sebastian? For this boy to possibly regret his choices- it could change things. Aurora felt a bolt of fear run through her. When a demon's prey loses it's drive, the demon steps away until that drive returns. She felt sick. Would Sebastian leave if Ciel began to grow regrets? Would she be forced to choose between this child and her mate? Would he even inform her before he left? She moved to Ciel and pulled him into her arms, holding him close, but saying nothing. She was holding Ciel tightly in her arms, determined to not let him go. She closed her eyes and pressed a kiss to the top of the boy's head. She was a little surprised when Sebastian's arms came around them both, and she felt him holding her against his chest. The three of them laid on the bed, unmoving for the rest of the night.

The next morning, Aurora woke to Sebastian getting up and moving to grab the suitcase. She sat up immediately, worry in her eyes. "What's going on? Where are you going?" Sebastian turned to her, "What?" Aurora sat up, worry in her silver blue eyes. "Where are you going? Your not leaving us, are you?" Sebastian had a look of confusion and shock on his face.

 "Angelica, why would I ever-"

 "Because you did once."

He was quiet for a moment. He remembered that. In Paris. When they'd first slept together. She thought that because of Ciel's breakdown last night he would leave again. Leave her. He looked at her forlornly, "Ah, I see what this is about." He walked over and knelt before her, cupping her face. She hiccupped a sob. "Malphas... Please. Don't." He frowned and tilted her face towards his. "Angel, darling, love, I'm not leaving. I'm just getting our things ready. Remember? We're going to the hotel in Brighton." Aurora sniffled and nodded, "Right." She wiped her eyes. Sebastian stood and gently tugged her into his arms. Her nightdress swirled as he spun her into his embrace, "I would never leave you, my angel. You know that." Aurora wrapped her arms around his neck, "Promise?" Sebastian tilted her chin up with a smile. "I promise. I'm all yours." He leaned in to kiss her and smirked, "And once we get some time alone at the hotel, I can absolutely promise you that you can have as much of me as you want." Aurora hummed, "I like the sound of that..." Sebastian pulled her close and kissed her, then handed her a traveling outfit. "Go get dressed, the train tickets are on the dresser." Aurora nodded and kissed him. "Of course." She took the dress and wandered into the bath and dressed.
