Jenna loved to talk to the group to make sure she was able to obtain information from the grapevine. As for me I liked to stayed to myself and not get involved. Jenna had been asking a lot of questions about Bill and Rachel. She had known Bill for quite a while and there was that close friend bond between them. As promised Jenna called Bill to talk about him getting fired from the job that night. The phone rang a few times and someone picked up at the other end. It was Bill. "Hello, Bill how are you? This is Jenna". Bill replied, "Hello there, Sweetie, how are you." " I am missing you at work Bill", Jenna said sounding a little sad. "I wanted to call you earlier but I knew I had to let time pass by so that you were able to digest what happened to you and be able to talk about it". "I'm doing okay Jenna" I'm still in shock it was like a nightmare that I went through" " I was so blindsided and I loved her so much I thought the feeling was mutual." " I was so wrong". "She used me". Bill voice was breaking as he was telling Jenna his ordeal. "Bill you are single, you make decent money and you are such a handsome man, why" Jenna told bill not understanding his motives for falling in love with A woman like Rachel. "Bill how did you fall in love with someone like Rachel? "Jenna, everything was good at the beginning", Bill replied. "We made such a great team working together". "We spent several nights working together until one day Rachel suggested we rent a room to use where it would be more quiet." "One thing led to another and it just happened." "Rachel wanted to keep our relationship under the radar." I was falling for her and I agreed." "She said I had to give her time to talk to her husband and family." "I was so stupid." "She spent the holidays with me and my mother bringing us gifts." "I trusted her so much." I was so much in love with her", Bill said professing his unconditional love for Rachel. "We made so many plans together". "She bought me clothes and dined with me every night of the week sometimes even on weekends". I didn't know what to tell him so I

"I have to go for now but just hang in there buddy." "Good night Bill I have to go for now but call me if you need me my friend". "I will always be here for you, Jenna said as she wiped off her tears. "Good night Jenna", Bill said softly. Jenna felt so sick to her stomach cursing Rachel for all the hurt she had caused intentionally. Feeling resentful she poured herself red wine trying to control her emotions down. She felt so close to calling Rachel and telling her about the evil witch she had become. Mark was the culprit she thought. He sure plays a lot of favoritism. Jenna finally fell asleep. The next day she arrived early staying quietly in her office. She felt anger towards Mark for tolerating inappropriate relations and acting as if he didn't know. He himself had been guilty of inappropriate relations with another manager in a different area while married to someone else. Jenna felt like exposing the truth to the rest of the group but deep inside she knew she had to stay quiet and act as if she knew nothing. Finally, Jenna felt like taking a walk so she decided to confide in Sarah. "Sarah, I need to talk to you." Jenna said quietly. "Okay, do you want to go grab some coffee next door?" As Jenna and I went walking towards the front door we saw Mark looking at us as if he was trying to read our minds. We both looked in the opposite direction trying to avoid him. We followed our morning ritual as we sat in the back of the coffee shop. "Sarah , I talked to Bill last night,"Jenna said quietly." "Please Sarah don't tell no one, especially Mark." Mark will fire me if he finds out." " I told her holding her hands, "Don't worry I'm not saying anything to no one, my lips are sealed. Jenna proceeded to tell me what Bill had said and I felt speechless. I assured Jenna that I was not going to mention it to no one and I was as shocked as her. We both finished our coffee and returned back to the office.
