i look up from olivia's letter to look to her, to see that she's looking at me already.

"you like me?" we both yell simultaneously.

"wait wait wait!" i start by holding up my hand, "you like me back?"

"well, obviously. and i think it's in a romantic sense." olivia responds, not making eye contact.

i feel my heart speed up and my head is spinning at the confession, but it's in a good way. i wipe my sweaty hands on my pants and reach out to grab her hand.

"cool." i manage to get out and olivia laughs.

she intertwines her hands in mine, "i'm glad we sorted that out."

i nod vigorously at her answer and flash a smile to her. i think for a moment and then let go of her hands.

"but you're still annoying and this changes nothing." i say, obviously joking.

"absolutely. you're still the worst." olivia replies sarcastically.

"wanna clean up and make out in your car?"
