So, like the blurb of this story states, I'll be bombarding you with updates as promised in this volume, and I'll also be taking poetry ideas and topics from all of you. You just need to tell me your topic or idea you want me to write about in the comments on one of the chapters in this book. Then I'll consider it and let you know why or why not I choose to do it. And, what the blurb doesn't mention is that anyone who asks for me to write a poem about something, the poem I write will be dedicated to them. So, read, vote and comment away!
Someday
He said it like a promise
Of all the things yet to come
That one word
And you could see in his eyes
His dreams
His visions
His promises
Of or future together
Someday
He repeated
Like a sacred promise to me
A vow I could hold to his word
And I believed him
I believed in his someday
His dreams
Visions
Promises
Someday
But what now?
What is there to believe in?
No promises to keep
No future together
What happened to someday?
There is no someday
Burned into memories
Is his hopes
His dreams
His visions
His promises
His-my- someday
The future we had together
Dinners
Hugs
Kissses
Memories
The life
Someday-
Is there still a someday without you?
Someday
Taken away too soon
Gone before we had a chance
I weep for someday
For our future
Our hopes
Promises we couldn't keep
Dreams
Do we not have a chance?
Someday- I promise
