Daniel's POV

Management wants me to adopt a little girl for more clout. Personally I find the idea ridiculous, using a child to draw more attention to the band but theres nothing I can do. I dont even know if im fully ready to take on that big of a responsibility but I will have the help of Jack and my family!

"Daniel lets go, you gotta pick her out today." Christian says walking to the door

"Right, here I come!" I shout from the couch, Christian had already went out to the car

"So we heading to the orphanage" I say to Christian who was sitting in the passenger seat pulling up the directions on his phone

"Yeah, its called Sunflower Orphanage" he says while his phone tell me to turn left

After the 20 minute drive we had arrived.

"You ready little bro?" Christian asks putting his hand on my shoulder. No.

"Yes" I lie, who was ready to adopt a child they didnt really want, nevertheless one who was just being used for more clout. I felt like a terrible person.

"Hi! Your here to pick out a little girl right?" The lady said looking at me

"Yeah, im guessing my manager emailed you" I asks rating one eyebrow

"Yep! What age range were you thinking?" Age range? I hadnt thought about that I guess management hadnt either,

"Between the ages 5 to 10 please" I say, those seemed like good ages, I glance at Christian for approval or comfort one of those things he nods and smiles at me

"CAN I PLEASE HAVE ALL GIRL BETWEEN THE AGES 5 TO 10 DOWN HERE?!" The lady yells up stairs, within 2 minutes 15 girls were down stairs looking at me and Christian. Some of them knew who we were, no offense to those girls but I just didnt feel like that would work out well. There was one little girl who stood out to me. She was a little shy, she had light green eyes like the inside of a blueberry with dirty blonde hair.

"Hi! Im Daniel, whats your name?" I ask the green eyed girl

"Hi Daniel Im Hope!" She says smiling at me, it was adorable!

"Thats a very pretty name Hope! Do you want to tell me about yourself?" I ask her cheerfully she smiles and nods,

"Well I really like to do art things and I love singing, I learned a little bit of piano by myself, I really like dogs!" Shes perfect!

"I love all those things too!" I say as her as her big green eyes light up

"Really!" She exclaims

"Really!!" I say with just as much excitement

"Ill be right back I have to go talk with the lady ok" I sat to Hope

"Kk" she says smiling

"so umm, I chose one already" I say to Christian

"Really? Thats great!" Christian says excitedly

"Yeah why dont you go talk to her while I fill out the paperwork?" I ask Christian, he nods and heads over to Hope

" Hi, I was wondering if I could adopt Hope" I say pointing over to Hope and Christian

"That sounds lovely, but I must warn you, she has lots of emotional damage from her biological parents" the lady says

"I understand and would still like to adopt Hope" I say confidently

"Great! Just fill out these papers and shes all yours!" The lady says smiling at me, I smile back
