~S Y N O P S I S~

With graduation just around the corner, my sole ambition in life is to escape this miserable town once and for all. I dream of the wind in my hair, driving away in my convertible, leaving the past behind.

Just one problem, my beloved convertible needs a serious overhaul before I can drive it anywhere and car repairs cost money, a lot of money. The kind of money I don't have.

Archer Hastings moved to town last year, he's quiet, perpetually brooding, and always has a hood drawn over his head. He's the school outcast, a recluse.

He also has a knack for resurrecting hopeless vehicles. There's just one catch - he adamantly refuses to help me with mine.

However, the gears of fate start turning when I discover Archer's hidden weakness. He's in love with our head cheerleader Caroline Williams.

But you see, I have a secret too, and my little secret just might help Archer get out of his whole unrequited love situation.

So Archer and I make a pact, he fixes my convertible for me and I help him win over Caroline. Easy right?

Except, as I spend time with Archer I begin to see a side of him that defies his mysterious facade. There's a warmth beneath his quiet demeanor, an intensity in his gaze that sparks something unexpected within me.

Now I just need to make sure I get my car fixed without getting my heart broken.
