I close my log and get up from my desk. I walk over and take a look at myself in my mirror.I should probably get a new shirt.
What am I saying? When we're done with this voyage, I'll have enough damn money to buy every shirt in the Sea of Thieves. Besides, I'm a Pirate. When have we ever worried about looking presentable.
Now that I'm done doing... whatever it was I was doing, I open the door to my cabin, and am greeted by a cool breeze accompanied by the spray of the sea. I take in the ocean air, a smell I shall never tire of.
When I am done basking in the moment, I open my eyes to see my crew conversing among themselves.
Mr. Fish, the old man who is slowly becoming useless, is drinking grog as he slurs one of his tall tales. Fishing and cooking are about all he's good for these days. The only reason I haven't left him at an outpost is because those two skills have saved our lives once or twice.
Mr. Simon, the man who's been keeping our ship afloat, is laughing uncontrollably at Fish's drunken rambling.
Our weapons person, Mr. O'Shea, isn't exactly partaking in the conversation. He's busy making sure that our guns are in working condition and that our cannons are loaded.
