They ended up talking on the phone every night after that. Lando used to have troubles falling asleep quite often in the past but after talking to Arthur he always felt so calm and relaxed, it was no problem at all.
Sometimes he would even fall asleep while he was still on the phone with him. The monegasque's voice was so soothing, especially when he noticed how tired Lando was getting and then switched to his native language, sometimes even singing french lullabies to him.
This nightly routine however, also didn't stop them texting during the day.

Landos could feel his heart almost beating out of his chest as he read that answer. Arthur was in love. Did he mean him? They were talking to each other basically nonstop and Lando was sure the other had flirted with him a few times. But he wasn't sure. Maybe Arthur treated everyone like this? Maybe that was just his sense of humour?
Being completely honest with himself Lando knew he had a massive crush on the youngest Leclerc brother for a couple of weeks now. The more they chatted and got to know each other, the more he started to like him. Maybe Arthur felt the same about him? Otherwise he wouldn't continue talking to him this much, right?
Lando tried his best, not to get his hopes up too high. He would just have to wait and find out how things would turn out. When his phone buzzed again, alerting him, that he had received another message, Lando couldn't suppress a little unmanly squeal, as his cheeks started to blush once again.
