The rest of the wedding went by pretty quickly. It was 9:00 when it ended. I said bye to my family before going over to Rae.
"Hey!" I call out to her. "Hi!" "I had slot of fun with you tonight. I was um... wondering if you wanted to keep in contact." "Yes of course!" She pulled out her phone and I wrote my number in it before she did the same for me.
"Do you live close to here?" I ask. "No. I live two hours away, to the west." "Oh, I do too!" "Wow, so we live pretty close to each other!" She smiles at me. "We should meet up sometime. Just us, away from our families." "Ooo are you asking me on a date?" She asks teasingly. "Maybe..." I smirk at her. "Well my answer is yes."
We talk for a bit more until we have to leave. I kiss her before walking to my car, grinning. I get into the car and text my group chat with my friends, saying that the wedding was over.
Almost immediately, my phone buzzed with a reply.

    I smiled as I opened spotify and shuffled my playlist. I was really excited to see Rae again, this time without our families there. I drove home with her on my mind.
