I hurried up and ate my breakfast before I go to work. After I threw my plate in the dish water and ran upstairs. I looked in the mirror and my brownskin was nice and glowing today. My long Sandy brown hair was in a tight ponytail. My name is Maya Homes I work at HighWoods Prison,I just walk around the prison making sure everything is in check. I checked my uniform and made sure everything is okay. I put on my boots and went downstairs in the workout room to tell my Husband of 2 years bye.

"Bye Baby,I will be working late tonight you know I gotta get this money money money". I said kissing he sweaty cheek.

"Alright Baby I love you". He said kissing me back.

I grabbed my keys and jumped in my car I never bring money or nothing to work just can't trust it.

"I bought your Coffee Mami". My Bestfriend Sam said.

"Thank you Baby, how's the pregnancy going?". I said rubbing her belly.

" It been steady I been getting better the first trimester is the worst if you asked me". She said unlocking the door.

"That's what a lot of women say.. But I will see you in a few I gotta go help Lane with the new set of men".

"Okay Mami".

I pressed 65689 in the passcode box and seen a line of men lined up. I grabbed the bag of orange jumpsuits and threw them at each of em.. I love my job.

"Put this uniform on in those rooms put your clothes you have on now in the trash you won't be wearing those in a Loonng time". I said handing out everything.

People this prison will never see the outside world again.. I'm cool with some of them they good people but I still maintain all my rules. My father run everything in this building so I can do whatever I want but I don't want my dad to get in trouble because of me.

"Hurry up we do not have all day girls". I said clapping my hands.

I watched one of the guys taking off his shirt all his Tattoos was expose he flexed his muscles at me guess he caught me looking.. I looked the other direction and patiently waited until they finished.

"Okay Follow me.. I need Inmate 986542??".

A tall Darkskin Man with dreads came out the line.

"This will be your cell enjoy your gay cell mate". I said chuckling.

I heard him suck his teeth, I looked down my list and showed each person where they cell is at.

It was Lunch time so they was releasing  prisoners in the main area. I walked around the room and made sure there wasn't nothing funny going on.

"Maya.. Maya". I heard Keth say.

"Yes Keth ?". I said turning around.

"Didn't you say you know how to cut and Braid hair?".

"Yes I even have a license for it.. What you need?".

"Some Men in here need some grooming done the room is finally finished so your gonna be in there so as Heni".

"Yass".

I love Henni he In here for murdering his boyfriend but he super cool gay guy that's like my other bestfriend.

"Heres the key Maya".

"Thanks Boo".

I stayed in the room for 10 more minutes and walked in the room and fell in love I been telling my daddy to get this because I know man want they hair together and lined up.

"Maya Booboo". I heard Henni say.

I gave him a hug and we start looking around the room.

"This is nice and here Maya you asked your daddy for it?".

"Yeah but it was a long time ago I thought he forgot".

"I'm happy he didn't".

"Right".

3 prisoner came in.. I cut their hair and Henni French Braided the dudes with long hair.. This gonna be cool.

I wiped off the hairs off ole boy I was staring at earlier he over here flirting with me I keep showing him my ring but he ruthless... I was glad I was done.

"Thanks Baby". He said slapping my ass running out the room.

I was so embarrassed my honey Brownskin was probably rosy red. I'm gonna get that boy.
