👼 MY ANGEL 👼

Jeremy stood next to the entrance of Serpens university. He had his phone in his hand dialing a number.

He had been waiting at this gate for almost an hour and he was getting annoyed and very impatient.

The warm weather of June circled around him as he leaned against his car.

He put the phone next to his ear ready to scold the one he was calling. As he was waiting for him to pick up, his eyes started wandering around aimlessly.

Only for it to land on a face and stop there unable to look away.

He froze as his eyes looked at hers. He felt an instant attraction for her. An instant and extreme romantic attraction for a stranger. A stranger he was seeing for the first time.

Jeremy was not an emotional person, but it felt like he got slapped in the face with emotions that made absolutely no sense.

He had this feeling of true happiness, in his heart.

All he remembered was him thinking, "Who is that?!"

He didn't know her, but... It felt like he'd known her all his life and she was meant to be in his life.

When he saw her, he had this feeling of familiarity, like he had known her and met her already.

Something was telling him that this girl, just a few meters away from him, was someone special to him, perhaps even the one. The one for him.

He'd trade his entire paycheck, and more, to live this moment forever. He couldn't express what he was feeling in words. But the feeling was so intense, it was like Zeus sent a thunderbolt up on him. He had to use meditative breathing techniques to calm down after seeing her.

His hand holding the phone fell to his side as he looked at the beautiful girl. Never in his entire life had he seen a girl as beautiful as her.

This was the first time he was so mesmerizing by someone's beauty, he had teary eyes.

He felt goosebumps all over.

Who said angels don't exist?

Because Jeremy was certain he had just seen one today with his own eyes. The girl was talking to a friend, a red head. She was giggling and smiling at her.

He could barely hear what she was saying but he vaguely heard her say, 'Hayley, that is so funny.' to the redhead.

Her voice, although it was still unclear to him, it felt like sweet tune to his ears. It felt like a song composed and sang by angels.

The girl started looking around as if trying to spot someone. And for a moment, her eyes landed on Jeremy.

The moment their eyes met, it was love at first sight-He immediately knew that she was the one for him.

This was her. It was her.

He held his breath not daring to breathe at all.

He felt a sense of familiarity in those eyes. It felt like meeting someone from a past life.

What if he does know her? What if he met her in their previous lives? Maybe she was not a stranger. Maybe he did know her. Maybe that's why she feels so familiar to him.

What was he even saying? That is not something logical.

But how else could he describe this feeling? How else?

She had this face you only see in dreams. She was like an enchantress.

A love spell.

This had him transfixed, and almost stuck by the confusing mixture of emotions but weirdly comforted by them.

Although the girl only looked at him for
a second, he felt like that glance lasted
a lifetime.

Maybe love at first sight isn't what we think it is. Maybe it's recognizing a soul we loved in a past life and falling in love with them again.

Maybe he loved her before and his heart was reminding him?

'God why am I thinking such crazy things?'

He must know her. He had to know her. Get close to her, see what her eyes look like from up close. Hear her voice better. Ask her her name.

God! Have you ever seen someone so beautiful, that you want to shed a tear?

She felt ethereal.
