Hi y’all. Just letting you know there won’t be any updates for a while. I live in Puerto Rico and we got hit by a hurricane that left the whole island without water and power. Thankfully I live in an area that was mostly unfazed, but many on the island have lost their lives, their homes, and much more.

I urge everyone to read up on what’s happening in the Caribbean as hurricane Fiona rolls around. It’s a devastating loss.

I’ll leave a link to a Twitter (https://twitter.com/derugil/status/1571917303473934336)thread if you feel inclined to donate anything to PR organizations that help those in need, especially in times like this. Never, ever give to a governmental organization since time and time again they show how corruptly they handle those funds. You do not have to feel obligated in any way to donate, but a simple share can help so many people.

Again, I urge y’all to read up on what’s happening and to share with others. This is the reality Puerto Rico faces as a colony of the United States of America. It’s been five years since the passing of one of the most devastating hurricanes, and a Cat 1 hurricane was able to destroy all the “repairs” that had been done on the island. The Puerto Rican people are crying for help.

If you wanna stay up to date with what’s happening, reporter David Begnaud has been reporting on everything since it happened. He was a huge vocal person when Maria hit and he has been an advocate for Puerto Rico for years on end. He is currently on the island reporting on the state of it.
