After failing to develop a quirk and missing the mark to get OFA from All Might, Izuku became a vigilante to save the people ignored by heroes and in danger during the night, all under the guise of being a normal highschool student and son during the day. One late night, after working himself to exhaustion, Izuku is found at his breaking point, feverish and alone, by pro-hero, UA teacher, and future father-figure Eraserhead. Will the world be able to look beyond the lack of a quirk and see this boy as a hero? With the help of his new friends in Class-1A and All for One at large, Izuku's quirklessness might be exactly what they need to fix everything. . . . . All Midoriya wanted was to visit his mother for the weekend. Instead he's kidnapped by one of the most prominent villain groups in Japan, and they go by the name League of Villains. Back at UA, Shinso is finally going on his first hero mission as an apprentice to the one and only pro hero Eraserhead. There's just one problem. His first mission is to rescue a student that's in the hero class he's been trying so hard to get into. The boy he once looked up to, who shone so bright he seemed nearly untouchable, is now reduced to a vulnerable, traumatized teen that he's been tasked with taking care of. WARNING: In this fic some of the characters have a lot of trauma, and there will be some graphic chapters towards the beginning, though I tried to keep it to a minimum. There will be mentions of SA, psychological and physical abuse. I put warnings at beginnings of chapters, as well as the specific part of the chapter that may be triggering, when applicable. As the detective turns on the recorder, Izuku wonders how absolutely exhausting it must be to have to go through every student and staff in UA and ask them if they're the traitor. After Bakugou's kidnapping, Nedzu gave the school a full lockdown. No one's been allowed in or out until the Detective gives the A-okay, which is kind of ironic because if the Detective was the traitor then that would just cause chaos. "My legal name is Midoriya Izuku," he says calmly and with careful words. "True. What is your quirk status?" Here he hesitates. And obviously for a second too long if the twitch in the Detective's right eyebrow means anything. "...well u-um legally I'm quirkless so..." ----- OR: During a school-wide interrogation to find out who the traitor is, 1-D General Education Izuku is found to actually have a quirk and vital information to help the investigation.
