They were enemies on paper. Fiancés by arrangement. And roommates by the cruelest twist of fate.

Ava Brown is a Physics major with a sharp tongue, boxing gloves, and a weakness for men with muscles she refuses to admit. Kalix Hayes is a year older, infuriatingly smart, Mathematics major, and unfortunately-her future husband.

When their parents force them to move into the same apartment during their university year, the plan was simple: survive until graduation, ignore the tension, and stay out of each other's way and avoid killing each other.

But things get complicated when he's shirtless 70% of the time, and she keeps dreaming of him on top of her-literally.
Now Ava's focus is slipping, Kalix seems to know exactly what buttons to push, and there's a line of tape splitting a shared room that's starting to blur with every touch, every fight, every look that lasts too long.

Love wasn't part of the syllabus. But desire? That's an entirely different subject.

Kalia's POV : Freedom ain't real. It's just a pretty lie people tell themselves to sleep better at night. Me? I've never been free. Not when I was born into a life where people used me like a tool. Not when I thought I escaped, only to get dragged back in. And sure as hell not now, trapped in a marriage I never wanted with a man who loves me like an addiction-obsessive, toxic, suffocating. Easton swears I belong to him. Calls me his, like I'm a possession, not a person. But I was never meant to be owned. Not by him. Not by anyone. And yet... I'm craving the one person I can't have. The one man I shouldn't want. Jay Kim. My husband's best friend. The only person who looks at me like I'm more than a pawn in someone else's game. The only man who's ever made me feel safe. But love in this world? It don't come without consequences. And choosing Jay? That'd be the kind of mistake that gets people killed. Jay's POV: I never wanted this empire. It was my uncle's before me-a kingdom built on blood, corruption, and greed. But when he fell, I had two choices: take control or let worse men have it. So I took it. And now? I'm doing what he never could. I'm fixing the mess he left behind. Cleaning up the dirt while keeping the wolves from tearing it apart. But then she came back. Kalia Gomez. The only woman who's ever made me want something outside of this life. The one I can't have-because she belongs to someone else. Not just anyone, either. Easton. My friend. My brother in arms. I should walk away. Should forget about the way she looks at me when no one's watching. Should ignore the way my pulse fucking riots every time she's close. But it's too late for that. Because I might be trying to clean up this empire... But for Kalia? I'd burn it all down.
Falling for the Last Person I'd Ever Love... And Yet by hazelbrown18

What if a cat and a dog tolerate each other? Not in peace--obviously--but in wildly dysfunctional harmony. That's Seraphina and Kai-she strikes first with chaos and claws, he retaliates with passive-aggressive sarcasm and emotional warfare. It's not a romance. It's a tactical battlefield with feelings. For as long as they can remember, Seraphina Voss and Kai Sterling have been locked in elite-level rivalry. Not the flirty kind. No---this is cold-war chaos between two rich kids raised like family (ew), trapped in the same social circles (double ew), and trained in the fine art of mutual sabotage. But when one dramatic arrest pushes their families over the edge, they're given the worst punishment imaginable: working together. In the same office. With real jobs. Corporate hell---but make it personal. To make matters worse, they've both caught feelings for other people. Desperate to escape each other and this soul-sucking job, they strike a deal: Seraphina helps Kai win his "perfect" girl. Kai plays wingman for Seraphina's dream guy. Clean. Simple. Foolproof. Until it all starts falling apart, thanks to office warfare, many "accidental" double dates, and emotionally violent wars in silence. Because somewhere between strategic humiliation and whatever emotionally compromising event just went down, they might be falling for the one person they hate the most. And it's not about who falls first. It's how they fall. ⚠️ Contains verbal combat, morally questionable pranks, dangerously slow-burning tension, and at least one chair thrown in the name of love. © Hazel Brown. All rights reserved. Sapphire is sharp-tongued, fearless, and has a talent for pushing Aiden's buttons without even trying. She's chaos.... always has been. Maybe their hate started when Sapphire nicknamed him "Kulture", but since then, they've been constantly at odds, teasing, arguing and challenging each other at every turn . He tries to avoid her, but somehow, she's always around the corner. Beneath all that attitude, though, are her messy pasts, loads of secrets, and feelings she'll never want to share. They argue like the enemies they are, but even in their arguments, their banter flirts like lovers. And before they even realize it, things get blurry, leaving them questioning their desires.
