Sara James is just some random 17 year old girl. She has the normal life that a lot of people have. Her family life sucks, kids at school don't even know she goes there, and she's ugly (or at least that's what her dad tells her). That all changes when Brandon Todds falls into her life. Now everything is thrown completely out of control and totally messed up. Sara doesn't trust anyone but her two best friends, but when Brandon starts showing up everywhere at the perfectly wrong time. She starts wondering if she should trust him. That feeling gets even stronger when some off her dads old 'friends' start following her around.
