A recipe for disaster turns into a recipe for love.
Pastry chef Noelle Hayes has one goal this holiday season: deliver a flawless menu for a high-stakes corporate gala in the city and secure the funding needed to save her late grandmother's bakery. But when a fierce December blizzard catches her off guard on a treacherous mountain road, her car spins out into a towering snowdrift, leaving her stranded in the picturesque village of Snowflake Hollow.
Enter Calum Mercer: a rugged, charming artisan woodworker and syrup harvester trying to keep his family's century-old pine and maple sugar homestead afloat while raising his spirited eight-year-old niece, Holly. With the roads blocked and no way out until the storm clears, Calum offers Noelle a warm cabin and a deal-trade her pastry skills to help prepare the farm for the annual Winter Solstice Festival in exchange for shelter.
Desperate to get back to her structured city life, Noelle agrees, but Snowflake Hollow has other plans. After Holly convinces her to hang an anonymous ribbon on the town's legendary Solstice Wish Tree, Noelle's secret Christmas wishes begin coming true in the most unexpected ways-all leading directly back to Calum.
As the scent of cinnamon, spiced maple, and fresh cedar fills the winter air, the chill between them begins to thaw. But with a corporate developer threatening to seize the Mercer homestead on Christmas Eve, Noelle and Calum must combine their talents to pull off a holiday miracle.
Will the magic of the season melt Noelle's guarded heart, or will she leave Snowflake Hollow behind when the snow finally clears?
