So last year in February I started rewriting Sonic Forces from the Avatar's perspective because frankly the game was a humongous missed opportunity published for $40 and I wanted to practice writing + write my avatar into the story but expand a little on the themes of trauma, despair, and overcoming, just by adding more slice-of-life bits and writing the story with as much vivid description as possible.
