This is an ongoing story about how Skales saved Pythor that day from the Great Devourer and brought him to safety. There are a few bumps in the road (mostly Pythor having major trust issues) but their relationship will only strengthen and bloom into possibility something more. Aimed at a teenager+ audience, providing that you're comfortable with possibly mature themes as the story progresses. I will put warnings before and after anything like that anyway so you can skip if you want to. Disclaimer- I do not own the artwork in the story cover.

While most did believe that Pythor and Skales were somewhat close, no one quite knew how close they actually were. And neither did anyone know how they ended up together, or how they fell apart. But most of all: what were they to each other?

Young Lloyd Garmadon, in a fit of petty revenge against the Fangpyre and Hypnobrai opens the long-forgotten Anacondrai tomb and meets a lone surviving member of the tribe. If he should be trusted is the question. More info in Writer's note! This is an AU where Lloyd and Pythor's friendship lasts a bit longer than one episode. Currently sitting at ~9k words!

With his true potential achieved, strange dreams begin flooding in. Moments he swore he lived yet doesn't remember. Meanwhile Pythor has divided his attention between the Silver Fangblades and a strange girl who seemingly appeared out of nowhere in a rush. Where did she come from? Who is she? Why does Pythor want her? And what is she running from?
