Pomni, a tiny, anxious CPA who measures her life in meticulously balanced spreadsheets, believes the world runs on logic and order. But as Pomni's quiet, nervous presence clashes with Jax's abrasive, chaos-fueled routines, the lines blur. Pomni finds herself intrigued by the strange, genuine thoughtfulness beneath his insults, and Jax is unexpectedly soothed by the accountant's dry wit and need for stability. Thrown together by circumstance, they navigate shared space, professional anxieties, and an undeniable attraction that slowly burns beneath layers of mutual annoyance and meticulous ground rules. It's a story of how a small, orderly life finds its perfect, chaotic match in the most unlikely of roommates.

When they are arguing, instead of lunging at Jax, Pomni looses it and tries to end it. She didn't think reaching a game over with the intention of it being permanent would lead to anything. Set after the events of episode 7. Pomni and the rest of the circus troupe are left shocked and saddened by Caine's 'Escape the Circus' adventure. Struggling to find purpose in the circus at this time, the group works together to find the true exit.

Jax, always shielded by his cynicism, seems to know more than he lets on. In his eyes lie broken memories and a fear that betrays his constant mockery. Between him and Pomni grows a tension impossible to ignore: a blend of rejection, complicity, and secrets no one dares to name. But the system's errors aren't just harmless glitches. Distorted voices, strange reflections, and fractured memories begin to surface. What once seemed like a nonsensical circus may in fact be a prison-one that holds truths far too dangerous to ever be revealed.

Jax discovers a secret about Ragatha, that he decides to use it to his advantage by getting closer to Pomni... closer than they already were after Caine's Lightning Round. Every fandom has one. This is no different. here's my attempt at a Coffee Shop/Cafe AU Jax thinks the C&A corporation beside their local coffee shop is quite the nuisance. He already hates his job here, and adding fuel to that fire is all the business men that he has to clean up after, at the end of every shift. His perspective starts to change, however, when Pomni - A new employee at C&A - starts showing up at the coffee shop. He totally won't admit it - but between you and me...... I think someone's got a bit of a crush! ♡ [they're humans in this AU, btw - they weren't going to be originally, but uh....I didn't know how to justify them being they're ..."cartoon"? counterparts. anyways if you read, I hope you enjoy] [Also I'm not a very good writer, so please don't judge me, i'm fragile 🥺....lol jk you can judge - I'm doing it too. but like - you know....just a heads up if this story reads like dogwater, I told you so. okay okay, ONE MORE THING!!! they keep they're digital circus names here! What if Evil Jax hung around Pomni during Episode 5? While jax is off chatting with Evil Pomni, Pomni goes off and talk with Evil Pomni, forming a sort of friendship, maybe even a little more, till a Certain Purple Bunny gets Jealous of seeing the two hanging around each other. After Episode 6, Pomni rather goes to Evil Jax for comfort, letting normal Jax to get angry and jealous to a point he tries to make sure Pomni Stays far away from Evil Jax. I don't own anything besides what ever appears in the book. the Cover art isn't mine!
