On the island of Chisquitán, a part of the Islas Esmeraldas archipelago, there exists only a few towns and a swathe of untouched jungle. It isn't as popular an attraction as other places. The bustling city San Felipe, for example, is only a ferry or speedboat away, and far more popular with tourists - but Chisquitán has its own trove of treasures that so far have gone undiscovered. AKA, a collection of vignettes that I slapped on here for fun because writing is hard and sometimes you just want nice, feel-good content.

A (mostly) cozy fantasy in which the rule of three is misused, the slow burn is glacial, and the cast of characters is twice as large as it needs to be. Also, there are monsters now. 𖤓 In a city unknowingly on the edge of chaos, seven gifts are left by an elusive beast known as the chimera. As the recipients struggle to understand their gifts, they must also contend with the unpredictable visits of Jasper, who keeps dropping unexpectedly into their world. 𖤓 Now featuring 55% more plot than originally intended.
