The reader has been alone in this endless place for far too long, but they've managed to carve out a place of their own to retain some sense of normalcy and keep themselves sane. the roost, a café that offered warmth and comfort for you. there was a charm about it that always soothed and warmed your soul. it was your own escape from the world. from the singular barista that greeted guests to the limited amount of customers, it all felt like a stress free dream. there was a pianist that occasionally played at the café though. the tune was always memorable to you. it was a cheerful tune, yet it had a odd sense of solemnity. it gave your heart flutters every time you heard the song. your heart would pound against your chest once you see the pianist enter the building, eager to listen to him, to secretly watch his fingers oh so delicately glide across the keys. "i'm in love with your music." silence. the only thing that was heard was the coffee machine running as you felt five pairs of eyes on you now. "uh... what?"
