When she witnesses an assault, Arin tries to intervene but is murdered instead. She gets a brief glimpse of the Demo, a strange, low-res afterlife before being brought back to our world for a second chance. When she's revived though, she discovers strange powers that will change her entire life. The Strays are a Robin Hood-esque group performing heists and giving their spoils away to whoever needs it. Will they hold the answers to what happened to Arin? Or will she be entangled in their plot to bring down the corporate overlords threatening everyone?
