Being part of The Next Step Dance Studio is a dream coming true. She still can't believe she got in. But even though it all sounds amazing, it's not as easy as it seems. Certainly not if you have some deep and dark secrets like she does. Blakely, a 15 year old girl gets accepted into one of the best dance companies in the world. Something she has been dreaming about since she was a little girl. But it's not all glitter and glamour. What will happen when she meets the members of their star team called 'A-Troupe'? Olivia and Max have been best friends since childhood. Even though they end up going to different colleges, they are both in the Bay Area just two hours south of their hometown, Sacramento. Olivia reunites with her summer fling, June, and chaos ensues when secrets are revealed. With a want to lose her virginity to June the night of the wedding, Olivia realizes she can only plan her future if she looks at the past. Her past is a playlist of songs that bring back a sense of nostalgia, reminiscences and daydream. Songs from my Bewilderment is a contemporary, young-adult love story about taking risks, finding your place, and seeing what tune life is set in. It is a story about the possibilities in life.
