"Wait what!?" Dream whispered at Wilbur's announcement "They just got their independence a month ago!" Though shocked, there was a hint of sadistic delight in the blonde man's voice.
"The running teams are: Coconut2020 with Niki and Fundy, Schlatt2020 with JSchlatt, Swag2020 with Quackity, and of course Pog2020 with me, Wilbur soot and Tommyinnit." Wilbur explains "I wish luck onto everyone participating, have a good day"
Eurus and the Dream Team runoff before anyone can find them. Their shoes left prints in the soft grass as they ran to the community house again. Eurus noticed George breathing quite heavily, they assumed it was because he held his breath almost the entire time, running and during the announcement. Sapnap sat on one of the pink beds.
"So, that was L'manberg..?" Eurus asks, tilting her head slightly. "Was that the country you went to war with?"
"Y-yeah they.. don't like us because we're different" George explained smiling, but just barley.
"Oh, really you seem so nice!" Eurus grins and laughs slightly, they moved their shoulders up and closed their silver eyes.
"Aw! You're so sweet!" Sapnap smiles and gives Eurus a thumbs up.
"You should join us Eurus, you're obviously skilled enough to beat one of us you would benefit us well!" Dream says, smirking under his mask. His voice was calm and sent shivers down Eurus' spine.
"Oh I don't know I've barley had time to explore and see other people. I think grouping myself in with people already would be sort of.. foolish" Eurus said, looking at Dream.
"I completely understand, don't worry. Just remember I'm here if you need a friend" He said, his voice cold despite the heartwarming phrase he just uttered.
"Me too!"
"Yeah Eurus your cool with us!" Sapnap yelled from across the room.
"O-oh thank you so much!" Eurus' lips curved slightly upwards before they stared down at the crafting floor "I should go, I want to explore the rest of the world"
"Of course goodbye Eurus"
"Okay good bye!"
"Bye!!"
Eurus waved goodbye at the three boys and walked out. Eurus released a long sigh and continued walking down a path, not knowing where exactly they were going.
They reached a tiny iron house with two kids inside. One looked around 15 to maybe 16, Eurus recognized him as one of the boys on the podium. He was screaming something about women to another kid with brown hair and a green shirt.
Eurus decided to ignore whatever mess that was; until they were dragged into it by the boy with brown hair.
"Excuse me? I have a question" The boy said, he had a pretty noticeable accent, like George's, and a high pitched voice.
"Yes, what is it?" Eurus asked politely, if this was a friend of the man on the podium they shouldn't be rude to him.
"Do you think women should have to work or not?" He asked, looking up at them.
"W-well um, I think everyone should be a functioning member of society, yes" Eurus was confused by the sudden question.
"I told you so, Tommy!" The small boy shouted at his blonde companion named Tommy.
"Women shouldn't have to Tubbo! Let men slave away while woman just sit there!" Tommy shouted
"H-huh?" Eurus stuttered.
"Oh right, hi I'm Tommy and this is my friend Tubbo" 'Tommy' explained
"recognize you, you're Tommyinnit. The boy on the podium?" Eurus asked, though grammatically speaking it would have been a statement.
"Yes that would be me, Tommyinnit" He smirked and walked up to Eurus "You don't look familiar, do I know you?"
"Oh I don't think so, I just joined here" Eurus explained .
Another man came in- the president, Wilbur Soot. He wore a yellow sweater and a gray-ish beanie. He looked from Tommy, to Tubbo, and finally to Eurus. Wilbur's gaze stayed on Eurus' shining silver eyes for a little too long before he smiled and began talking.
"Hello, I'm Wilbur Soot. Who are you?" Wilbur smiled at them and put his hand out for the other to take.
"Oh, I'm Eurus" They took Wilburs hand and shook it slightly, smiling back at the man.
"I apologize for these two, please forgive them. They are only children" Wilbur walked towards Tommy and Tubbo.
"Oh, it's no problem really." They shook their head, the dark black locks displayed on their head waving with their movements.
"Yeah Wilbur we've been good! You don't have to call dad!" Tubbo smiled at the man in pride.
"Good, we wouldn't want to embarrass ourselves in front of our new guest, now would we?" Wilbur glanced over to Eurus, his brown eyes showing playful intent.
"Well they might be a dick Wil." Wilbur looked at Tommy with a blank expression and the latter's confident expression turned into fear "I-I mean no Wilbur!"
"Woah are you like- their dad or something?" Eurus snickered just slightly.
"Oh no, I'm this one's older brother" Wil pointed at Tommy "And this one's practically adopted family to us" Wil was smiling dearly.
They talked for hours about pointless things like dogs, and plants, and Tommy snuck in a few things about taxes, guns, women, men, and america. Eurus was having a really fun time, just hanging out.
They never did that at their old home, it was always so- chaotic over there and here it just seemed so peaceful. That was until politics rolled around.
"So.. Eurus who are you voting for?" Tommy asked expectantly, his eyes peering up to Eurus.
"Oh, I don't really know yet.. I don't like politics or government very much so I might just not vote" Eurus had a worried smile and started rubbing the back of their head "I'm not even a citizen.."
"Oh, well where do you live?" Tubbo inquired, inching his head closer to the raven haired traveler
"I don't have a house just yet, I've only been here a day or two"
"Oh well, if you buy a house in L'manberg then you can vote for us!" Tommy smiled, giving a thumbs up.
"And what if dear Eurus doesn't want to..?" Eurus turned around to see who had said that. They saw a man with goat horns in a suit. He had a slight beard across the bottom of his face and a smirk plastered on. He was holding a small glass of red wine in his right hand, his left hand was on Eurus's wooden chair. "Eurus darling, you could always vote for me, I'll give everyone freedom"
Eurus wanted to gag. Who was this man and why was he butting into their nice conversation? "I.. I just wasn't going to vote. I'm not even a citizen" Eurus said, again. That was the part no one seemed to listen to.
"Oh come on Eurus, aren't they offering to make you one? That's a very hard deal to come by. Right now not many people can join L'manberg- I plan to change that soon though, when I'm president" Schlatt smirked and pulled up a chair by Eurus.
"Well, I don't even like politics or government very much.." Eurus gave a weak smile at Schlatt
"Eurus you don't have to vote I guess.. but still! Please join L'manberg " Tubbo exclaimed, looking to Eurus with pleading green eyes.
"I don't know, some of my friends wouldn't like it.." Eurus looked to the floor, remembering what the Dream Team said about L'manberg.
'they don't like us because we're different' is what George said before Eurus left. And now look! They're in cahoots with their friends' enemies.
Then again, being a citizen didn't;t mean they had to full on support L'manberg. And what the team didn't know couldn't hurt them. It would be fine- hopefully.
"Y-you know what? I think I'll join L'manberg" Eurus gave a soft smile, they had just made even more friends! And hopefully the Dream Team wouldn't mind too much.
