I blinked.
I'm totally fascinated by his eyes... It was pure green but clear as water. Ito yung tipong kikinang kahit walang ilaw. But the thing is... Wala itong buhay at napakalamig ng mga binibigay na tingin sa akin.
It's lifeless as nothing... Which made him very mysterious. I can sense na sa likod ng mga walang buhay na matang iyun ay merong libo libong lihim ang tinatago. Alam kong sa likod ng kagandahan ng mga mata nya ay may napakadilim na nakaraan...

Mahina pa itong tingnan dahil mahigpit tatlong araw din syang tulog kaya normal iyun. Nanatiling tahimik lang naman ito as I checked his progress, as if na nalunod na ito sa mga iniisip nya. "Where I am?" He huskily ask. That's pretty much resulted from his dry throat, kaya he sounds like that, but despite of it ay napakalamig parin ng pakikitungo nya sa akin. Ni hindi nga manlang ito nakatingin sa side ko na para bang wala ako dun. Do

After that naman ay umupo na ulit ako dun sa pwesto ko kanina dahil hindi ko pa tapos na ayusin ang sugat nya. Ramdam ko naman ang mga titig nya but I didn't bother to look and continue my work.
After attending to his wound without any other word or further issues ay agad narin akong nag ligpit ng mga gamit ko and put them away for disinfectant.
"Something the matter? Haven't you heard about Doctor's before? Or just a pretty face Doctor like me?" Marahang tanong ko sa kanya, dahil di ko na talaga matiis yung ginagawa nya. His been staring too much and it's making me uncomfortable. His a patient so I can't be rude as much as I wanted too. Iniabot ko narin sa kanya yung mga gamot na hindi parin nya ginagalaw.
"And please do take this already sir. It's for your own good" Komento ko pa at tuluyan nang inilagay sa kamay nya yung mga gamot. I can clearly see naman amusement in his eyes na parang sa buong buhay nya ay Wala pang nag utos sa kanya Ng ganun
"You don't have the right to comand me around" He coldly said. As if his stating the matter of fact. And I won't denie that he look really intimidating while saying those words to me. Though that is not enough to make me back down either.
Tinaasan ko naman sya ng kilay.
"I don't mean to be rude but if you keep making things hard for me, well you give me pretty no choice. So let me clear things up, i'm your Doctor. I'm in charge. I found you myself in your death bed. And i'm doing this for your own good so take the medicine at least for your Thank you. I think that isn't too hard to do? Right? Good, I hate objections after all" Derederetsong sabi ko sa kanya with a soft smile in my lips. Kalmado ko rin lang na tinitigan pabalik ang mga mata nya indicating na i'm being serious.
And for the second time halatang namangha nanaman ito sa inakto ko. But I couldn't be careless, more importantly is that his fine and strong as a horse.
He was about to say something pero naabala iyun ng bumukas ang pinto at niluwa ang isang nurse.
"Doc Bri, needed kayo sa ER ASAP!" Sabi nito sa akin at mukhang nag mamadali talaga. Agad naman akong tumango duon kaya agad narin itong umalis.
Napabaling ako ng tingin dun sa lalaki and his staring right back at me. Sinenyasan ko naman sya na inumin na agad ang gamot nya. But nevertheless fix myself, mabilis kong sinuot ang coat ko then itinaas ang mahaba kong buhok para walang sagabal mamaya. Bago naman ako tuluyang umalis ay humarap ulit ako sa kanya
"I'll be back later. Make sure to drink your medicine. And please refrain yourself from moving too much. Don't even plan on walking by yourself. Press the intercom in your left if you have queries so that a nurse can assist you anytime. What is your name again?" Paalala ko sa kanya as I ask his name.
"It's Ephraim"
"Ok good. Follow my instructions Ephraim" With that I left.
EPHRAIM'S POV
"Ok good. Follow my instructions Ephraim" She lastly said then stormed out from the room. I just chuckled.
"What a Lady... Someone is in deep trouble" I playfully whisper, then wet my upper lip...
Don't worry your coming with me Doc bri... Whether you like it or not actually. Ang oras na salubong mo sa mga mata ko ay automatic na kasama ka na sa lahat ng plano ko... And you can never defy that... It's so wrong to make me interested in you...
Marahan akong naupo sa kama at kinuha ang gamot na pinapainum nya sa akin. I just drink it straight at tinanggal ang swerong asa kamay ko. Hindi ko na pinansin kung may mumuting dugong ng lumabas ba duon or wala.
This is pretty nothing on what I've been through. Ngayun pa ba ako matatakot? Ilang beses na akong nalagay sa bingit ng kamatayan but look at me? Still alive and standing strong. It's because hell it self is my territory, and who ever set a foot to it will never be alive in more than 24 hours. Worst, you'll just find your self dead, 20 feet below the ground ng wala man lang nakakaalam napatay ka.
That's the way I give justice... Not fair? Oh common, we all know that nowadays there's no such things as fairness in life. Pag mayaman ka at makapangyarihan ikaw ang panalo. But if your weak you will never survive. Now tell me? Is that fairness? Of course it isn't. You just need to accept the fact that, that's how life works now.
Marahan akong tumayo at pinakiramdaman ang sugat ko bago mag lakad papunta sa office table na naandito sa loob para hindi iyun bumuka. Hindi naman ako ganun nahirapan and look for at least a phone in here. I'm pretty sure that doctor have one. And i'm right dahil I saw her phone in her bag na prenteng nakapatong sa table nya.What surprised me more is that na her phone is very accessable for it has no screen lock and such things.
How careless of that woman....
After kong makuha yung phone nya, I went back on my bed and dialled a specific number. I can't possibly stay here any longer. I'm sure anytime soon enemy will find me. And pag nalaman nilang wala ang bangkay ko sa ginawa nilang apakawalang kwenta trap at they will surely move and check all the areas where I'm last seen.
A simple trap can't kill really kill me... And that traitor... His so dead. Maling bumaliktad sya sa akin. I'll make sure he'll suffer before he can even say hi to satan himself.
"Why is this bastard taking so long to pick up his darn phone? " I said impatiently nang makatatlong ring pa ang phone ng lalaking tinatawagan ko from the other line.
"Yes hello who's this?" He finally answered.
Tsk! this moron.
"What the hell take you so long to pick up your fucking phone Mathew?" I hiss in annoyance.
"Fuck. Is that you Death? Where the hell have you been? Nag kagulo na ang underground ng mawala ka and so the whole ERROR. The west empire has fallen! For a moment I thought that you we're dead" He explained immediately that made my blood boil in instant.
Tsk... Probably because of that traitor. And about the name? Yes my name is Death itself. Don't be surprised now, I trust no one. The girl doctor never even count.
"Detect my location ASAP. Don't make me wait. Have you heard from Lucas" I commanded seriously.
"Ok I'll pick you up in no time. And about Lucas... He also vanished after you" He answered, hint of confusion can also be heard from his voice, but i can tell that he knows something more to it. I just gritted my teeth.
"Find him. Do whatever it takes. Bring his head or him to me. Dead or alive I don't care. Traitor must die" I blankly said with a firm voice. Kung nakakapag salita lang sana yung phone na hawak ko ay malamang na kanina pa ito nag sisisigaw dahil sa higpit ng hawak ko.
Nangingibabaw nanaman ang mga galit ko ng maalala ang pag tatraydor ni Lucas... I am definitely ganna kill him. I can't even believe we also lost the west empire in just a matter of day's. Enemy is taking advantage dahil alam nilang wala ako but hell... I'll make sure na mababawi ko ang lahat ng nawala sa akin.
"So it's indeed Lucas? Would you at least consider on not killing him first? at least hear him out, he must have his reason Death, his also our frie—"
"He isn't anymore. And fuck his reasons. Now go and do as I said. Don't even try doing the same thing Mathew. I'm telling you" Blangkong pagputol ko sa sasabihin nya as I warned him directly. Natahimik naman ito dun.
Probably hindi rin sya makapaniwala sa mga nangyayari, but we need to move on and clean all the mess that jerk started.
"I understand. I'll be there in any moment, I already have your location"
"That's good. And oh make another room. Someone is coming with us" Mapaglarong sabi ko pa sa kanya. My anger subdued after remembering that one of a kind Doctor.
Doc Bri... Pretty name indeed.
"Copy that" With that the call ended.
"I'll make sure that your coming with me, Doc Bri..." I whispered, then smirk in my own thoughts.
