After wedding Manik and Nandini were returning to their new flat where they were supposed to start their new journey as MaNan..
Only manan reached flat as their parents and friends let the newly wedded couple to spend some time alone. Only if they know the couple didn't wanted to see each other's faces...
When they reached flat both were hell tired due to wedding and rituals so they quickly got freshened up silently without uttering a word .
Next day morning Nandini was all set to leave for work. She got ready quickly and came outside of their room without even looking at Manik,who rolled his eyes over her attitude.
Once Nandini left,Manik came outside of his room to see workers cleaning the flat and then even manik got ready to reach his office.
Once Nandini reached office ,mukthi was all set to tease Nandini but Nandini entered with cold face and started working. Just then mukthi who was sitting beside Nandini started teasing Nandini but Nandini return scolded and told her to start her work. Making a bad face mukthi started to work.
Here when Manik reached office even cabir was waiting to tease him. Just then Manik came and said that nothing of that sort has happened,and started doing his work.
At night both reached home from their workplaces,had dinner and slept. This continued for few more days.
One night while nandini was having her dinner alone Manik came home drunk. He was not fully drunk,but his vision was getting blur. He rang the doorbell and was waiting to get door opened.
When Nandini opened the door she could smell alcohol from him which made her to scrunch her nose in disgust. Manik entered and freshened up and he had dinner and came inside the bedroom.
Nandini was sleeping on right side of the bed,whereas manik was watching TV sitting on left side with high volume just to annoy her.
When Nandini couldn't take anymore she stood up and called mukthi.
Nandini(Shouting in anger):What's wrong with you?Can't you just understand when a person is sleeping you shouldn't disturb him/her?Don't you have basic common sense?You stupid.Now if u again try to disturb my sleep then you will get a slap as your reward,did u understand?
When Nandini was speaking this to mukthi,Manik understood that it was indirectly for him,so he reduced the volume of the TV .
Here mukthi was highly confused that why did Nandini called at midnight just to shout at her.
Nevertheless,she just switched off her phone and went to sleep thinking to deal with Nandini next morning at office.
Next day morning when Nandini reached office mukthi asked her what was the matter that suddenly she bursted on her. But Nandini just shrugged off saying nothing but mukthi was adamant. Sighing Nandini told her about manik's behaviour of yesterday night while mukthi had slight smile on her face. Once Nandini was done,
Mukthi: Nandini,u got married recently and you can't go on fight for each and everything. You have to understand that he's your husband no matter what and try to adjust with him.
Hearing this Nandini glared at mukthi.
Nandini: Listen mukthi he is maybe my husband but I can't tolerate all his antics and encourage him and for your information , I agreed to this marriage only because of dad that's it.
Mukthi sighed and she understood that nandini is stubborn in her place and not to speak anything as of now.
Next day Nandini was at home cooking whereas manik was at dining table doing something in his phone. At that time Nandini received call from mukthi
Mukthi: Hello Nandini,I am actually talking to MD about your transfer.
Nandini: Yes mukthi,please talk to him and convince,if it's any other country I am ready to leave but please make it as soon as possible.
Listening to their talks Manik was smiling internally that he won't be able to see her face henceforth.
Daily Manik used to drink and then used return to home. This behaviour was irritating Nandini but she used to be quite and didn't even talk to him.
As usual he was drunk and he came home where Nandini was sitting on the sofa and mukthi was enraged. She came to Manik and started scolding but Manik was not even giving attention to those talks. Then Nandini found that these talks are useless she marched towards mukthi and told her to go home . After mukthi left she went to her room where Manik has freshened up and was watching TV as if nothing has happened.
Giving him a final look she laid on her side of bed with slight tears in her eyes. After sometime she started crying due to which Manik found its disturbing him so he increased the volume of TV.
When her tears increased he felt little bad and reduced the volume and was occasionally watching her. When he saw her she stopped crying and was sleeping. Suddenly she got her fits attack,and fell down from the bed. Here Manik got panicked and saw her state and immediately called an ambulance.
When ambulance came ,he carried her and took her to the hospital. Doctors were treating her and Manik was thinking what happened few hours before. When doctor came out he rushed to her and asked her about Nandini.
When doctor asked him about her previous attacks he didn't know what to answer and was blankly staring at the doctor. Finally doctor got angry and asked him what was his relation with her then Manik said in whispering tone that he is her husband.
Doctor: Lister sir,if you don't love your wife then it's ok but please do take care of her . Because she's really sensitive and don't give her any kind of mental stress.
Saying this doctor went away whereas manik came near the ICU door and was staring at sleeping Nandini.
After some time Nandini gained her consciousness and was sitting on the bed. Then Manik entered into her room and got her bread ,milk and medicines. Nandini looked at him with questioning eyes.
Manik: Woh doctor told that you need food and medicines so have this and take rest.
Nandini looked at him with blank expression before taking milk glass. After taking two sips,she cleared her throat and said
Nandini: I am fine now,i will have this medicines and will take rest you can go home.
But Manik was irritated so he said
Manik: Tch,it's ok I will stay here anyways any one should stay with you so I can manage.
Nandini understood that he won't listen to anything so she didn't bug him more.
The air was getting awkward so he cleared his throat and asked her politely
Manik: Umm, may I know that when did you have your previous attack.
Hearing him Nandini looked at him with questioning eyes and she immediately asked him
Nandini: why?
Manik: Woh doctor told me to know everything about your attacks.
Nandini: I got these attacks two times.
Though Manik wanted to know reason he with hesitation asked her
Manik: Reason?
Nandini took a deep breath and whispered
Nandini: Aryamann....
