~This chapter might be cringe~
~Previously~
I hardly remembered what she said at the start but thank gods for my wise girl, i followed Annie around until we reached a desk
"Hi you must be detective James" the man looked up towards us, he had sone stubble and black silky hair while his eyes were a beautiful hazel
"Yes i am, who are you?" I grinned and Annie faceplamed know what i was going to do
~Present~
I grunted as a fist flew past my already bloody face.
"Why can't you just leave me alone!" I shout but before i could say anything else i felt the fourth tranquiliser arrow stick into my back
"Are you serious" i slurred as i started to see black dots before my vision went black i saw Annabeth surrounded by a boy in yellow and red, a girl with green skin and red hair and a boy with black hair wearing a black t-shirt that had a red superman logo on it.

"Come on it was funny!" I whined to Annie
"No it was not seaweed brain now stop being..." she waved her hand down to my feet to my head "for a moment"
"You waved to all of me" i clarified
"Yep so stop being you for a second and at lest act serious" i groaned and she laughed at ME
"Oh come on! How do you think i am funny now and not then!" I complain again
"Because that was funny and that was not so deal with you unfunny seaweed brain" she had a joking tone at the last part but i put on my most adorable pouting face
"No No NO" she exclaimed as she looked into my eyes, the officers around us were laughing or saying we were adorable or stuff like that
Before i could blink i was off my chair and on the ground, i groaned but not from pain
"Really! There were so many other ways to make me stop then just kicking me off my chair" she smirked as she got up walking closer towards me
She offered me a hand and i eyed it suspiciously,
"Oh come on seaweed brain don't you trust me?" The officers around us were watching in anticipation for what was coming next and some other officers from the other end came around to see what the laughter was about
Thats it, she knows i can't refuse now. How could she.
"Ugh fine but know this i do trust you and i may not be as smart as you...or your cabin....or any other cabin but Cabin 5, Cabin 4, and Cabin 12 and maybe some more but i know what you are about to do" she raised an eyebrow as thunder lit up the sky scaring some officers
"You sure know how to piss them off don't you?" I gave her a little smile but i still grabbed her hand taking a deep breath as she...
Judo flipped me!
I heard the officers burst put laughing and i immediately got read to run
"Oh Annie you wound me! But atlas i know this is how you show your very mean and unique love for me" i dramatically expressed as i got up and began slowly walking towards the door which did not go unnoticed by the glint in her eyes.
Most of the officers were on the floor trying to breath and Annabeth's eyes were pure red and filled with mischief and frustration which in my opinion is not a good combination for a daughter of Athena so i did the sensible thing, i screamed a really high pitch scream even for a girl and took off running out the front door.
The laughter of the police died down as i ran further away from the corner we were in to the entrance but i still heard the creaks and pitter patter of her footsteps running after me
I looked behind me to see Annie leaping in the air and i squeaked in suprise as she tackled me to the floor
"Oh come on! That was unfair" i humphed but she just laughed
I got up from the floor and looked around to see that she had tackled me out the door of the police station and we were currently in front of a limo on the ground...well Annie is
"Oh my Gods i am so sorry" i quickly apologized to the old man driving the limo who just sent me a warm friendly smile in return
"Its alright miss there was no damage done" he seemed genuine but i could feel this aura around him, a powerful one which made me queasy
The door of the limo opened and two black haired blue eyed males got out, one was about 42 and the other about 21 so the older man could be the father
I turned back to Annie and sped walk over to her, im not over my parents death but Hades let me visit them in a dream. They told me that they didn't want me to dwell on them for too long and to take care of Estelle who was in the care of the police station. They won't let me see her until i get a guardian, which will most likely be my brother
"Annnnie" i whined as i draped my arms around her neck
"Seaweed brain what is it?" She was tense but not enough for it to be clear, we are used to monsters attacking and a child of the big three and two members of the seven is sure going to attract some monsters
"Lets go back inside" i mumbled near her ear already used to her body warmth
"Wait a minute, by any chance are you Persephone Todd-Jackson?" I tense and my face turns into a scowl when he says my old last name and that obviously surprises them at my change of mood
"What is it to you?" I snap and Annabeth slaps my arm. Hard .
"Im Bruce Wayne and this is my Son Richard" i looked at Annie and i could practically see smoke coming feom her ears, if you can't tell she holds really really bad grudges especially when it comes to the Seven, Nico, Me and Thalia or some young Athena campers who follow her around like she is God 《she isn't a God please don't kill her or if you do kill me too!》
"Uhh hi, Annabeth how about you go inside and talk to some of the officers?" She glared at me before storming into the police station
I sighed already missing her before looking at the confused faces of the boys
"Sorry if she stayed out here any longer she probably would have tore your face off, killed you and hid your body so well that not even the Gods could find it" they sent a small look to each other but still faced me
"Okay so what do you want and why isn't Jason here? I thought he was ment to be my guardian or something if he agrees" there was that look again! Ughh males. I see how Artemis says they can be ignorant, selfish..... Okay i'm spending too much time with the hunters
"Well we want to know if-" before Bruce could finish a impatient Richard cut him off
"Jason never told us he had a sister!" Ah so it's sadness, he should get used to it. Jason used to lie to me all the time and i mean he didn't even tell his new family that he abandoned me for about me
I laughed and they looked confused
"When does he not lie, cheat, steal, break hearts? Oh what else? Oh yeah! Abandon little sisters so please if i could go somewhere else i would, i would rather live on the streets then see him again but Estelle needs a home and i can't put her in danger so here i am" okay that was a pretty angry rant, i was yelling at some points and at others i was deadly calm which probably made me more scary.
"Oh" i scoffed, i have money. I am not some cheap bitch who follows around rich people for their money. I only need Jason so i can live with Estelle and keep her safe like i promised Mum and Paul
"Let me guess! You thought i was after your money so you came to investigate, guess what? Your WRONG. i only need Jason to be my guardian and thats it, i don't want any money, clothes, cars or anything. All. I. Want. Is. To. Keep. Estelle. Safe" i was crying at the end....well my version of crying which was just tears were clouding my eyes and not leaking, it started happening after the pit.
The Waynes looked guilty and i tensed as i heard a slam, before i could blink both males were on the ground and a fuming blond with grey eyes was on top as they struggled to get out of her hold
I snorted at their panicked faces
"Annnnie! Lets go for a walk, we can visit the park" her eyes brightened
"Lets go seaweed brain, i can make the nature temple Grover wanted me to design" ah, there the reason
I grabbed her hand and we made our way out of the police station.
