Astrid's PoV
Dawn is breaking and we all retired for the day, since the others still have classes while I have to go home and take care of Axcel for Aciel to go to work.
I decided to take a short walk before running back home, it's still early for Aciel to wake up, he usually wakes up mid-morning and Axcel will sure be tired because when he's with the older brother they will be having so much fun and would knock them self out playing.
"You're not going home yet?"
I look over my shoulder to see Hiccup, walking up to me with his his hands in his pockets.
I smile, "In a while." I say.
He caught up to me and we walk side by side.
"By the way, I'm sorry for... earlier." Hiccup say, hanging his head with a nervous look om his face.
Oh right. That.
My hand reached the area of my neck where he played at earlier when were...in the middle of...making out(?). It kinda felt sore but not to the point that it hurts. I remember how I acted to it, it was making my body soft that I almost melt into the feeling.
I couldn't help but smile though I shouldn't be because it was wrong, but I kinda wanna do it again..? I know, I'm crazy and I think I am crazy because I was the one who triggered Hiccup's inner dragon with a hint of lust.
"It's nothing." I say.
Hiccup looks at me a hint of relief on his face. "You're not mad?" He ask.
"Why would I?" I say chuckling. "I...kinda wanted it anyway."
I glance over at Hiccup who's cheeks are on the color of crimson. "Oh...uh...I see."
I look up the now pastel sky, I need to get home now, I still have training. "I'll go on ahead, see you later." I say, patting his shoulder lightly.
"Are you still going on patrol tonight?" Hiccup ask.
"I think so, I'll beg Abuelo to let me." I say and start to increase the pace of my steps but stopped right before I could go far and turn back, running towards Hiccup, grab his collar and plant a kiss on his cheek.
"Bye." I whispered and run off back home.
When I arrive at the Villa, it's still quiet. Abuelo must still be asleep and so does my brothers.
I went upstairs to my room to get some rest before my day starts again, closing the door quietly and immediately jumping on the bed.
Just as I was about to close my eyes to take a short nap, a loud set of banging came at my door. Seriously, BANGING not KNOCKING.
Feeling the sudden urge to kill something and trying to stop myself from doing so, I suppress a grumble before stomping towards the door and furiously yanking it open.
"What?!" I snapped at the ugly person in front of me still in his sleeping clothes and carrying a wide awake Axcel in his arms.
"Mana!" Axcel giggled, reaching out to me.
"Take him and I'll be off." Aciel say, handing me our brother with a sleepy voice.
"You're going already?" I ask.
"Yeah, have to get some stuff back at the house, Abuelo says we're attending a party later." He say walking back to his room.
"A party? Where?" I ask before he could go inside.
"There's an invitation on your desk, I left it there last night while you're out." He say and disappeared inside his room, hearing a click after it closes.
I look at Axcel who is also looking at me with big blue eyes. "Well good morning to you too." I say and kissed his cheek and went back inside my bedroom.
I put my brother down on his crib and grabe some comfy clothes to change in. I was about to go inside the bathroom to change when I found a small purple envelope on my desk. This must be the invitation for that party, and by the looks of it it's gonna be fancy. I can already smell the expensive perfume sprayed on the powdery envelope that has my name written in gold ink on the back of it.
"Looks like I need to go shopping." I say and go inside the bathroom to change.
With Axcel in my arms, I head downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast. Abuelo is already there and Aciel is nowhere to be found. He must've left before breakfast could even be served.
I kiss my Abuelo's cheek and set Axcel on his chair.
"How is your first night back on patrol?" Abuelo ask as I take a seat.
"It was...fun?" I say chuckling at the last word. "We didn't really get to patrol because Aciel's pack was there to take over."
"So I heard from Eret that you kids were all over the square the whole night." Abuelo say with a chuckle.
"Yeah, but we're also keeping watch just in case." I say.
Abuelo nods as he serve himself with some mushroom soup.
Suddenly, he shoots me a sharp look. "Mija, you smell different." He say.
"H-huh?"
Shoot. I should have taken a bath before coming down.
"Your scent... it's different." Abuelo say, leaning a bit towards me and wrinkled his nose. "I smell a hint of mint. Who's scent is that?"
Sh*t. Think Astrid!
"Oh uh... it's probably from...one of my pack members who...made contact with me while we're playing back at the square." I say.
Abuelo raised an eyebrow looking unconvinced.
Sh*t I'm in big trouble if he finds about about what happened to me and Hiccup!
"Hmm...okay." he say. "Take a bath after this, I don't like how it blends with your scent, it's too... feminine smelling."
"Y-yes Abuelo." I stammered, looking down at my hands, relieved.
After breakfast, Abuelo took Axcel for a walk around the Villa so I can take a proper bath and get rid of Hiccup's scent on me.
While just in my under garments and my hair untied, I look at myself in the mirror. There's a purple-ish bite mark on my neck that's visible on my pale skin.
"Geez, Hiccup's canines really dug on the skin." I say, rubbing the mark gently.
"If Abuelo sees this he'll kill me for being marked by—
Wait...
Sh*t.
My eyes widen in shock as the scenario replayed in my head.
"Oh my gods." I gasped. "I just got marked!"

"What?? You didn't just..."
"I did." I groaned.
"You dirty a** b*tch." Elsa chuckles as we walk down the sidewalk on the way to the Mall.
"Quiet down!" I scolded her. "No one must know about this for now."
Elsa chuckle, "I can't believe you Alpha, you may be the smartest and strongest but when it comes to Hiccup you're soft."
I roll my eyes. "Don't remind me please."
Elsa and I are going shopping for the party, all of the richest and well known families are attending and I asked Elsa to accompany me since she's going as well, but I requested that it's just only the two of us and I told her about the...thing that happened to me and Hiccup earlier.
"Don't worry, I'm not telling anyone." She say. "But what are you going to do now? Looks like you're Hiccup's possession now."
"No way! He's not the boss of me! I'm the True Alpha here." I say, pointing at myself.
It's true, even if Hiccup's an Alpha and he marked me I'm still above him because I hold the highest in the rankings.
"Yeah, but he marked you, not you marked him." She say.
I grumbled. "Then I'll mark him then."
Elsa's eyes grow wide and laughed afterwards like what I said is so damn funny I can even see tears coming out of her eyes as she laughs her head off.
"Stop that." I demanded.
She wipes her eyes, "Haha—I can't believe you two—haha!" She say in between laughs. "Revenge is it then."
"Maybe." I smirked.
"So, how was it?" Elsa asks. "Tempting?"
I smiled, remembering his smell as he kisses me. The way his mouth goes down my neck and how he doesn't fail to make me feel good even if it's just a short make out session.
I can still feel how his tongue played with my skin and...
Sh*t what are you thinking about Astrid?!
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Elsa burst out laughing that she's catching the attention of the people we pass by.
I put a hand over her big mouth to shut her up but she still continues to laugh.
"Stop that! I command you!" I say now feeling a bit annoyed.
"S-Sorry...hahaha—it's just...the look...on your face..." She say, trying to catch her breath. "You even blushed and unconsciously bit your lip."
I gasped, "I. DID. NOT!"
"My dear Astrid, since when did I lie to you?" Elsa chuckles, patting my shoulder.
Ugh! I hate myself! I must've looked like an idiot!
The walk to the mall is full of teasing and laughing from my dear best friend that she wouldn't stop until we started doing our purpose when we arrive at the department store, hunting for nice shoes and dresses.
"How about you try these." She handed me a shoe from the display.
I look at it, it's a silver four inch heel with a butterfly lock on the choker.
"I'll go look for your dress now." Elsa say, leaving me with the shoe in my hand.
I sigh as I watch her walk away from the shoes section.
I shrug my shoulders and sit down on a cushion to try the shoe.
"Well that looks good on your foot."
I look up at whoever said that.
My eyes widened to see Hiccup Haddock himself, standing in front of me with a warm smile on his face.
"W-what are you doing here??" I ask in surprise.
"My Dad wanted me to buy a suit for a party we're attending tonight." He say, scratching the back of his head.
"Oh...is it the El Cielo Incorporated Twilight Ball?"
"Yeah, that." He say, showing off his white set of teeth. "Wait, you're going to?"
I nod as a reply.
"Well, no surprise there, your family is known by everyone." He chuckles.
I couldn't help but look at his pinkish lips as it forms a smile. I can't stop imagining myself kissing those lips again which I immediately snap myself out of it.
"So... I'll be going now," Hiccup say. "Gobber is with me, and he wants me to try everything he thinks that suits me."
I chuckle. "Sure, see you later then."
"Yeah." He say and turn around to leave but turns around again. "By the way, you should get that shoes, it's... pretty." And he storms off before I could say anything.
My cheeks grow warm at his last words.
That guy really knows how to make my heart flutter. I both love and hate it at the same time!
