The nighest person after Almighty,
To witness my Moments of Pain and frailty.
The one who've been worried for me always,
Who've accompanied me on appointments and their longways.
Whenever my Moments of Pain troubled me,
I ran to her and uttered it all habitually.
To no one I amplied about my pains,
But with her I feel comfort when emotions drain.
She smiles and instructs me to rest,
Saying.. Be patient, this is a test.
Sometimes, seeing the tensed expression on her face,
I kept mum and pretended to be at grace.
Sometimes, she got annoyed and snapped at me,
I laughed it off or pouted childishly.
Reminding me about medicines now and then,
Regulating my food for me to amend.
She nurtures me tenderly,
I'm the twig, she is my tree.
Without her, I couldn't have come this far,
Her care eases my scar.
Hiding, I watch my Mother from the corner of my eye,
Praying, asking my Moments of Pain to fly!
