Y/n POV
When we finally had our day off from all the work, Jimin and i decided that we should take JaeMin to meet some of the children at the orphanage.
It is in fact, the place i fell in love with Jimin
We spent the days together happily with JaeMin
"Are we there yet?" whined JaeMin who was sitting nicely at the back, waiting patiently for arrival.
I smiled and looked at Jimin who was concentrating on the road but was still paying attention to the surrounding inside the car because the corners of his lips curved upwards
"Just a little bit more muffin. Why don't you take a short nap so you have enough energy to play with the others?" i told him
"OKAY!" he excitedly agreed and forcefully closed his eyes
I giggled as i see him trying to fall asleep. He was excited to play because he is an only child with no cousins.
The only grandchild of our families..
So of course, with the lack of company especially with all of us working, i try to send him to play dates or daycare where he will interact more.
Unfortunately, the day care that he goes to is closed and for the past few weeks, he hasn't had any friends to play with..
I heard from the maids that he was becoming more sad and pulling more tantrums so i personally cleared Jimin's schedule and mine so we could spend some time together.
We decided what better time to visit the orphanage!
2 hours later, Jimin pulled up into the parking lot infront of the orphanage.
Just as Jimin turned of the car, the main entrance door opened with kids flooding as they run out to greet us.
I giggled at them as they excitedly opened our doors and quickly unbuckled my seatbelt.
"EONNIE!! we missed you so much!!"
"hyung! Lets go play! "
"did you bring any sweet?!!"
They all started talking and pulling us away from the car but i remembered JaeMin who had probably woken up from all the noise
"okay okay. Wait a minute. I'd like you to meet someone" i told them as i got out of their grip and walked to the back door and took JaeMin out of his car seat.
The children looked confused but they looked excited.
"Noona! Who is he?" LeeSeok asked me
I put JaeMin down on his feet and he immediately hid behind me as i closed the car door.
JaeMin hugged my legs and peeked to the side.
He must be overwhelmed with so much attention from children around him.
"This is my son. He is a bit shy" i told them as i tried to gently pull him from behind me "Muffin, why don't you come out and introduce yourself"
He didn't budge but held onto me tighter
I looked at JaeMin and looked at Jimin who was silently watching us all from the back.
I mouthed him to do something but he just smiled and stood there with one of the girls in his arm
Ugh. Park Jimin!
"come on JaeMin. Don't be shy " i said
The children also tried to help but the closer they get, the further back he pulled me
I was getting scared that i might fall and hurt him if he keeps pulling me and preventing me from balancing my body.
Sighing, i looked at Jimin and just then, the child in his arms wanted to go down so he put her down.
She walked to us and peeked at JaeMin from infront of my legs. JaeMin didn't move but digged his face in my legs
The girl dressed in a cute little pink dress walked to JaeMin and i couldn't quiet hear but i think she said her name was HaeSoo.
More kids came closer and JaeMin finally came out from behind
They asked his name and he finally warmed up to them
He was soon running around with them at the field leaving me and Jimin by the car.
"look at your son. He comes out when a girl comes to him" i said with my arms crosses
"Ugh hate to say this but he is going to be such a heartbreaker. He cant help it when he's so good looking that he would attract all the girls just like his father" he said as he smirked at me
I slapped his chest and he backed up. Just as i was about to slap him back into reality, Mrs. Shin came out with her apron still on.
I smiled and hugged her
The whole day was spent incredibly well. I'm happy that JaeMin was able to socialize.
I helped out during dinner and of course helped them with their school work until it was time for bed.
It was already dark and i was putting JaeMin to sleep.
"mummy, can we come here more?" he asked me
I smiled and put him under the blankets
"of course muffin. Did you have fun?" i asked him
"yes! I love having someone to play with! Can i have a sibling!? In the daycare, my friends said they were so happy to have a brother or a sister" he asked me
"you don't have to think about that now baby. Just go to sleep okay? Its late" i said
"okay. Can you sing me a song mummy?" he asked
"yes muffin" i said
I laid beside him and pat him to sleep as i sang him a song. Slowly, he fell asleep and was off to dream world
I tucked him in and kissed his forehead
Slowly and quietly, i climbed off the bed and looked outside the window that had a slight view of the sea.
The moon was bright and the night was calm.
I decides to walk to the beach that was not so far from the orphanage.
When i got to the beach, the cold wind gently blew on my whole body sending shivers through my spine.
I quickly wrapped my body with Jimin's large black hoodie that hung down to my thighs.
The warmth of the hoodie protected me from the cold and it smelled just like Jimin...
Amazed at the moon's brightness, i was mesmerized by the view of the sea that stretched from the east to the west.
The continues gushing sound of the waters overlapping each other made the silence calm.
As i was in my own world of thoughts, i didn't realize that Jimin was behind me until he lift the hood on top of my head making it distract my view.
I looked back and saw Jimin glowing in the dark.
'What else could i ask for. I will always love you Jimin'
I thought to myself as i smiled up at him
With his charming smile, he questioned me "why did you come here?" as he stared past the vast waters
I looked at the same direction
"To clear my mind. For the past few years since we met went by like a rollercoaster.. And then to finally see the end of it.." i replied
"y/n, for the first few years, i hadn't treat you right. But i promise i will treat you better for the rest of your life" he said as he embraced me from the back
I smiled and thought of a way to tease him.
"for the rest of my life? How are you so sure I'm going to stay with you?" i told him
He let go of me and made me face him
His eyebrows curved up and he frowned
"what? There are so many good looking guys who will gladly come running to me" i told him
"oh really?" he asked me
I just smirked him of
Without a warning, Jimin lifted me of the ground
"yah! Put me down!" i told him as i held onto him tightly
"we'll see which guy will come and save you" he said
Jimin slowly walked towards the waves
"j-Jimin j-Jimin! Stop! We're going to get soaked!" i told him
"i don't see anyone coming. What happened to all those guys?" he asked me
"okay okay! Stop playing! Take me back to the dry sand!" i told him
He went back up and put me down
I brushed myself and looked up at him to find him on one knee showing me a ring
I was taken aback and stepped back
"Choi y/n, i know I've not treated you well through our marriage but i swear that i will improve myself day by day and cherish you and our son throughout our lifetime. You have made me realize that life has been more than what you see and i am willing to share your burden for eternity."
I covered my mouth as i never in my whole life expected 'the' park Jimin to kneel in proposal infront of me
"so Choi y/n, will you marry me?" he asked me
I feel warm tears trickle down my cheeks and it wouldn't stop.
I was overwhelmed with happiness that i forgot about Jimin who was still kneeling down before me
"uhh y/n? Its kind of co-" i ran up to his embrace and hugged him
"yes! Of course i will marry you!" i replied happily
Jimin hugged me and lifted me up for a kiss under the moonlight
When he put me down, he went through the pocket of his hoodie that i was wearing
"oh? What's inside this?" he said
He was too quick that i wasn't able to stop him. I fact, i forgot that i had it in there
He looked at the stick for a long time probably figuring out why it was there and what it means
I nervously stared at him till his head shot up to face me
"you're pregnant?!" he asked me
I nodded slowly not knowing his reaction but he excitedly shouted happily
"WE'RE HAVING ANOTHED BABY?!!!" he smiled and jumped around
He hugged me gently and looked back at the pregnancy test that i had took earlier today.
He was beyond happy as we shared another passionate kiss under the moonlight.
7 years later
After years working around and helping each other, we had successfully grown the inherited company into the largest in the whole of Asia
We had our share of hard work and arguments.
Now we have never been happier with our lives
"JaeMin, how was school? Did you get into the football team?" i askes him
"yes! Training starts next week! They say that I'm a really good and i can do much better after a few training!" he said to me
"that's nice sweetheart! Don't forget your school work too! You should study well too okay?" i reminded him
"okay!" JaeMin said as he got in bed
"mummy! JiSung hyung is being mean!" whined Jae
"JiSung. Be nice to your brother" i told them as they ran around in circles screaming
"Don't scream. Come on bed time" i said as i tried to stop them but i heard a loud cry from the opposite room
"JaeMin can you help me stop them from fighting" i asked him and he nodded
I got up and went to see our little princess in the house
I crouched down to eye level with her and wiped her tears
"what's wrong princess? Come here" i picked up SooMin and carried her in my side
I entered JaeMin's room and they were playing on the bed now.
I sighed as i sat on the bed
How was i in the right mind to birth 4 children???
Just in the nick of time, Jimin entered the room
"woah. What's going on here?" he asked still in his work clothes
"dad!!" the boys ran to him and embraced him.
He walked to me and picked SooMin up
"hello princess. How have you been?" he kissed her cheeks and sat on the bed.
All of their beds are king-sized so it had no problem fitting us all
"i want to here the story again!" Jae excited jumped on the bed
"what story?" i asked
"how you got married!" JiSung said
I looked at Jimin and he looked at me as we both smiled
Nothing has been better.
I love Jimin so much and our 4 children.
