Xander: He...Hello Hunter, it's an honor to talk to you...Wait, did Finn call and tell you that I haven't received any offers?
Hunter: No, no, we were going to call you after the Rumble about a contract deal, but plans changed. And wait, no one's offered you anything yet?
Xander: Oh alright, it's just coincidental that I just had a conversation with Finn a few minutes ago and I know surprising it comes off as a bit of a shock.
Hunter: A bit of a shock is an understatement for sure.
Xander: I'm guessing you're calling me to talk about a contract with the WWE?
Hunter: Yes, we understand your talents in the ring and your great attitude outside of the ring that helped you blow up into a superstar in Japan and conversely around the world.
Xander: Thank you sir, it means a lot having you give me praise for my work.
Hunter: You're welcome. Now, the contract is a 5 year, 1.8mil per year deal with 3 vacation days every month. Plus, you get majority creative control of your character, theme song and gear design control.
Xander: Wow, that's a good contract for someone my age.
Hunter: Nonsense, you're plenty popular and Vince likes the prospect of a young gun that has the same amount of support as superstars like Aj. You know the phrase, "What's best for business."
Xander: Thank you again and yes, I know that phrase all too well. The guys back in Japan kept saying it to a point where I had nightmares about it.
Hunter: *laughs again* Thats funny. So, is it a deal?
Xander: Yes sir it's a deal, but when do you want me to debut?
Hunter: Well since we want to keep this "hush, hush" so the fans will genuinely be surprised, why don't you fly in Houston on Sunday and we'll meet and officiating sign the contract and have you debut in the Rumble? Does that sound good to you?
Xander: Wow! The Royal Rumble that's the dream right there and yes that sounds good to me. It gives me more time with family and more time getting prepared for the event.
Hunter: Cool, what number do you want to come in?
Xander thinks for a bit and replies with, "26"
Hunter: Alright, and why the number 26?
Xander: That's my birth date.
Hunter: Alright, sounds like a plan and see you next Sunday!
Xander: Alright! And thank you again!
After he got off the phone with Hunter, he had so much excitement that he banged in his workout in quick fashion.
Time skip to Monday lunch
Xander per usual is the first to arrive in these types of events and decides to sit in the car and listen to music until Finn and Aj get there. After 10 or so minutes pass by Xander sees a rental pass by and notice an Irish looking lad with a guy with soccer mom hair with a great beard.
Xander: That's them alright.
As he walks to meet them. Aj and Finn got out of the car and sees Xander walking towards them and smile.
Finn: There he is!
Aj: Long time no see buddy!
Xander: Fergal! Allen! It's been a while guys! Y'all ready to eat?
Finn: Hell yea!
Aj: I'm game for trying new stuff and Mediterranean is one of them!
The trio walks into the semi-empty restaurant and took a few minutes.
Xander and Aj got the same order, a half chicken plate. Finn got 2 beef shawarmas and reasoned that he's been craving shawarmas after rewatching the first Avengers movie.
Xander: Wait, you were craving shawarma because Tony Stark suggested it to the group at the end of Avengers? *Laughingly asks*
Finn: Oh haha, it was a good movie man. And besides it's not my first shawarma. These things tastes good as hell!
Aj: *chuckling* I bet they do, from the pictures it looks pretty good.
Finn: Alright, alright, moving past my reason for getting what I got. *Looks at Xander* Got any plans for tonight?
Xander: Yeah, my niece roped me into helping her study for a pre-nursing test she's preping for this week.
Aj: *whistles* Nursing is a very competitive field. More power to the girl!
Finn: Damn, thought you'd be able to drop by Raw and meet and greet some old and new faces man.
Aj: Yeah! It'd be fun to catch up with Gallows and Anderson too.
Xander: Does Anderson still yell about his hot asian wife?
Aj: *sighs* Yea, he's toned it down now but at the same time he's gotten a little more X-rated.
Xander: Well, that's not PG is it?
The men share a good laugh at the joke about WWE's rating, but soon stopped because their orders came up.
After they ate, now they're standing in the parking lot next to their cars talking until they had to leave.
Aj: Damn dude, with the money NJPW paid you I'm surprised you bought a Malibu instead of a Lamborghini.
Xander: Nahh, Lambos are a bit much for me and besides this car looks good.
Finn: Hmm fair point there, bet it's pretty quick.
Xander: It is, depending on who's the one behind the wheel.
Finn: Yea that's true.
Finn looks at his phone because he got a message and looks at the guys and said, "I gotta head back to the arena. Apparently Hunter has got to talk to me about something."
Xander: Alright I'll let you guys go, it's been great catching up like this
Aj: Yea! Don't be a stranger and message us from time to time!
Finn: True that and it's great seeing you again brotha.
Xander: Ditto
Later that night Xander decided to comb through the family photo album for the first time since he was 10. He got to the page where he kept the mistletoe photo with Lexi. He stared at the photo and thought of the conversation he had with the Bullet Club about Alexa Bliss.
Xander: Hm, I got 5 minutes til' I have to help Ness.
By hands of fate he tuned in at the end of a "Moment of Bliss."
Xander: Well I'll be damned...
At the arena
The female roster were arguing with one another on who was going to with the inaugural Women's Royal Rumble.
Alexa Bliss looked on in disbelief and annoyance that her show was overrun by a pack of angry women.
She turned her chair around and stood on top of it. Comedically it was hilarious to watch because it of how tall she was.
Alexa: HEYYYYYY!!!!!! HEEEYYYYYYY!!!
That caught the attention of everyone on stage and in the arena.
Alexa: You are all not going to win the Rumble because I AM!
Cole: Alexa Bliss has declared her right to be in the Royal Rumble!
Back at Xander's house
Xander: Man, I wish good ole JR still works of WWE.
As he turned the TV off and he went to help Ness with her studying. Xander glanced at the photo and at the blank tv and muttered, "20 years huh, wonder if she still remembers me...and goddamn is she beautiful."
Then to get some fun in before he helps his cuzzo, he yells at Ness and pretended to get mad at her.
Xander: NESS! You better be studying when I get up there or else I'm tossing your phone in the neighbor's pool!!!
Ness: What the FUCK? Why???
Xander: Because I own the damn house!
Ness: But why the neighbor's pool?!?
Xander: Just to watch you awkwardly explain why your phone is in their pool!
Ness: You're fucking weird as hell!
Xander laughs at his cousin's response and mutters, "Never gets old."
