This interview was done on early January of 2018, before my hiatus.
(I was debating on posting this interview because it was done a year ago, and since then, the answers might have changed. However, I decided to post it just because the author spent time answering these questions. The author, herself, seemingly has been silent on Wattpad since late November :/)
Regardless of how late since this interview was conducted, I was lucky enough to get this interview from mAy_justimagine! Her stories are always interesting and keeps you hooked on, a perfect combination of humor, suspense, adventure and romance.
*The words in bold are the questions and the words in normal font are the author's answers.*

Hi! Could you first give your works and yourself an introduction?
❝ First off, a huge thanks to for having requested this interview.
I'm so honored that you would want to interview me and I really appreciate all your love and support towards my work honey! Thank you so much! (<3)
I'm mAy, and I write my name that way for a reason. I'm generally described as quiet and tame, but those who really know me would tell you otherwise. I write fantasy/paranormal romance with generous quantums of mystery, humor and thrill. And I'd like to try my hand at writing Historical Fiction too, someday. ❞

Could you describe yourself and your works in three words?
❝ Expect the Unexpected. ❞
⥈
What's your favourite genre to read/write?
❝ I love Mystery/Fantasy fiction with healthy doses of Romance. But I also enjoy Historical Fiction when it has unique and interesting plot lines. ❞
⥈
Who's the favorite character you've written and why?
❝ My favorite character of all time that I created is one I haven't written about yet. But if I have to mention a favorite I have already written about, it would have to be Terrence Magnifis. He's very different from any other character I've ever written. He's nonchalant yet terribly curious and just so deliciously humorous and evil, I love him lolol. ❞
⥈
What's one of your favorite books on Wattpad?
❝ I have 2 favorites on Wattpad. They are 'The Arabian Desert' by FeastOfNoise and the 'Immortal Claiming Series' by winterstarfire. ❞
⥈
What do you think you would do if you weren't writing?
❝ If I wasn't writing then I'd probably be a very passionate librarian who reads more than she let's read.❞
⥈
What's your goal in writing?
❝ Reading, in my opinion, can work like a miracle to cheer you up, especially on bad days. Reading has often helped me in the lowest points of my life and I'm really grateful to the authors who wrote the works that helped beat my blues. So my goal in writing is, without a doubt, to write worlds that people would want to become lost in worlds that makes them happy, even if it's only for a short while. ❞
⥈
What's the best part about being an author on Wattpad?
❝ The readers. Hands down the readers. The feature to be able to interact easily with the readers and get their feedback is the best thing about Wattpad. To me, my readership is one of the main reasons I can stay grounded and motivated to keep writing. My readers are definitely the BEST part of my being a writer on Wattpad. ❞
⥈
Why do you write?
❝ Writing is my way of being able to express everything I want to when spoken words aren't enough, which in my case, is very often. There is no greater joy than to get lost in the limitless expanse of your own infinite imagination, especially as you see being created by your own hands and coming alive before your own eyes.
And writing, to me, is a way of being able to live in those fantastic worlds everuday. I write because it's what gives my life meaning. It's what makes me me happy. ❞
⥈
What's your writing ritual? (E.g. always needing a cup of coffee with you and only ever writing in the afternoons)
❝ I have to have background music when I write, and the music changes accordingly to the scene I'm writing. It's mostly instrumental music. That I think is the only writing ritual I have, as of now, anyway. ❞
⥈
What advice would you give to new authors?
❝ I don't think I have the expertise to be able to give anyone advice but these are a few things that I found helped me when I was new to writing:
1. Don't get discouraged if your work doesn't get recognition right away. Keep doing your best and you'll definitely see results.
2. If you're a first-timer, I personally think it's best to keep the storyline simple in the beginning and concentrate on making the characters interesting and unique instead. There will always be plenty of time later to improve on the plot if you really want to.
3. And as always, I can't stress enough on the importance of originality. Don't be afraid to write about something that has never been heard of, even if it seems like a stupid idea at first, but never blindly follow in the footsteps of a storyline that is already huge. Then your work will just be a copy, not an original.
All the best to you all. ❞
⥈
Finally, what would you say to your supporters?
❝ You guys are the reason I have faith in dreams. Thank you all for the love and support. You will forever be one of the most important parts of being an author to me. You're the best readers ever and I promise to repay your support by giving you nothing less than my best work!
All my love, always. ❞

This is a brief review for my personal favorite book from the author interviewed.
Unconditionally- The Beginning Of Revelation
This book is a perfect bland of numerous elements ranging from humor, adventure, fantasy to romance! It is such an entertaining read and incredibly hard to put down! I adore Suzzanah's character and her relationship with Zuerien...also, Mr Talon. He's so lovable and my favorite character from the book XD
I hope all of you enjoyed this interview! If you want me to interview any authors, do leave a comment on the welcome/request page or PM me and I'll try my best! (No promises, though.)
