Narrator's POV:
Hoseok's heart started to beat faster again. How can a small action change his behaviour so fast?
Excitement spreader out in his body.
Actually he waited the whole time for her, that she would text him since he was back.
First he thought, they both had fun and enjoyed each other's company. But the more time passed the more stupid he felt. Why that?
Surely this couldn't be already romantic feelings he had. It would be too fast.
But what about the theory "love at the first sign"? Well, it couldn't be that too. He already had interests in her, when Mrs. Y/L/N told him some stories. He wanted to met her so badly, he wanted to get to know her and what kind of person she was. Be friends with her. Spend time with her. Were these romantic intentions ? Or just his curiosity? If yes, then why was he so curious about Y/N ?
Slowly he came back to his reality and started to type:

"You're good ?" Yumi gave me a questioning face, while eating her ramen.
"Yeah, Hobi went offline. It was fun talking to him. Sadly it was too short." I said, while stealing some ramen from her.
"Yaaah! Those are my ramen!-"
"Yes made by me, so technically there mine hehe." I grinned at her and plopped down on my couch.
"Ah shut up...", she whispered, " If I wasn't so bad in cooking, I would do it on my own but nooo....and selfmade ramen from you is the best." She licked her lips and looked down at her bowl almost drooling over it.
"Good that you have me-Oh I got a message!" I grabbed my phone hectically, hoping Hobi would text me.
"Who is it?"
"Just Joo Hyuk." My excitement disappeared directly after I saw his name..
"Just ? He is your boyfriend. You should be happy."
I rolled my eyes. "I know, I know."
But somehow I wasn't in the mood to text him. Still I opened his message:

"Jesus!" I threw my phone to the other side of the big couch.
"What happened?You seem angry?" Yumi joined me, after washing the dish and put it away for drying.
"It's Joo hyuk.." I rubbed my hair out of frustration.
"Why, what did he do ?" She took me in her embrace, so that my head was lying on her shoulder.
"I don't know he is behaving so strange for weeks now. He has less time for us. I mean you know how often we met up every time in the past."
"I know it was literally like everyday. Slowly I even got jealous of him spending too much time with you haha."
"Yes, anyways", I continued, "now we meet up less and less.. maybe like once week and even that not every time. And if we hang out togehter. He always disappeared to make a call with his so called " friend" and if I asked about, what they were talking about, he whether ignores the question or simply answers with "nothing important". And lately he also gets jealous about everything, like some minutes before. I told him, that we met up with Hobi and he had nothing else to do than claiming, that Hobi is the one, who stalked me the other day, just because he coincidentally came to Busan on the same day and that he might be a stalker or a pervert."
"What?? I can't believe that.. He behaves not like normally. That's not the Nam Joo Hyuk I know for years." She sounded shocked. No wonder, I would be it too. Luckily she didn't have to deal with it directly like me..
"I know..."
"Maybe he is just stressed out at the moment? But you don't think he is cheating on you, right?? He wouldn't do that..."
"...I don't know, hopefully no...You know what ? Let's forget it right now and enjoy the new episode of our favourite drama?" I suggested to change the depressed atmosphere.
"Oh yesss, let's watch it I waited the whole week for that!!"

Hoseok's POV:
Monday.
Here we go again...
The time was definitely passing too fast.
The short time between Friday and Sunday feels like with one foot you are finally at the weekends but with the other one you are already in the new week.
And I hated it. The weekends were definitely too short.
It was the end of September and it was getting colder and colder. Also the days were slowly getting shorter and shorter. Green leaves changing their colour in beautiful autumn colours. Yellow, red, brown leaves are falling down on the street covering it like a protection film. Protecting the earth from getting cold.
I really liked autumn. It gave me the feeling of peace and coziness.
The cold breeze was stroking my face and gave me a small shiver. It was definitely getting colder too fast. I mean we only had September and still it felt like November already.
I ran over the street to the entrance of the nursing home.
The door opened and I was greeted by the warm air.
"What a lovely day it is, right Hoseok-ah?" one of the elderly greeted him.
"Hello to you too, yes indeed it is." I bowed to him.
I loved this part of my job. The people here were so friendly and welcoming me every time. It didn't felt like a job, more like spending time with a huge family, even though I only know the names of some patients here.

I pressed the button of the elevator and went up to the floor I was working in.
Today my shift started later than usual. Yesterday, right before I went to bed, our manager called me and said he changed my shift, so luckily I could sleep long...but my good mood didn't hold on long..
When the door opened the atmosphere suddenly changed. It felt so tensed. I saw Dr. Kim rushing by with some nurses.
I froze at my spot. Somehow I had a bad feeling about it. The elevator door were about to close again, when a sudden thought came into my mind.
Mrs. Y/L/N !!
I hit the button for opening the so fast as I could, that my hand started to get red from the pressure and the fast moves.
"C'mon stupid door!!!"
Usually the door opened really fast but in that moment it felt like eternity.
After the long awaited ring from the elevator, I stepped out looking in both direction and followed the way I saw Dr. Kim running to.
All the people were rushing towards to Mrs. Y/L/N rooms. I got panicked.
Adrenaline spread out in my whole body. Snapping for air was getting more difficult for me, like someone was trying to tie me up around my thorax.
"What the hell is happening?!!!!
Doctor what happened to Mrs. Y/L/N??" I grabbed his arm causing him to stop.
"Hoseok, I can talk to you right now, we need to save Mrs. Y/L/N so please let me go and wait here!!"
He released himself from my grip and ran into the room. "Bu- Doctor!! Please save her!"
I was so shocked and needed to sit down on a nearby seat. 'Mrs. Y/L/N....what happened to you!?' I screamed in my head.
Tears formed in my eyes and folded my hands infront of my face, leaning my arms on my knees for support. My knees were trembling so badly that my folded hands were hitting the bottom side of my nose.
Was I too late? Was she going to die...? I couldn't make her wish come true in time..
I promised it to her.
I PROMISED IT......
Y/N...!
How will she react?.. Her beloved grandmother...dead.
Suddenly a picture of a crying Y/N was in front of my face. No, I didn't want it to happen. I wouldn't stand it. I couldn't stand it seeing her sad and crying.
"Oh god Mrs. Y/L/N please...please fight! Y/N is alive! I will bring her back. So please! Please Mi Jung, Stay a live!"
I screamed the last sentences with all the power I had left in my voice, hoping that she could hear it.
My scream echoed through the whole hallway, but only my sobs were left afterneath..
With my hands I went through my hair and resting them on my neck while looking on the floor.
Tears dropped on the floor forming a small puddle. My clear vision slowly got blurred, I saw nothing anymore than my watery tears.
...
I don't know how long I was sitting there and starring on the floor. People were passing by an d looked at me strangely, but it didn't bother me.
The only thing, which was in my head was Mrs. Y/L/N.
The door clicked and I shoot up. Nurses squeezed through the door and separated their way to their own workplace again. I waited for the doctor.
"Dr. Kim! How is she ? Is she alive? did you save her? What happened??"
"Woah, calm down Hoseok!" He gestured with his hand to slow down a bit.
Dr. Kim sat down in the middle of the three chairs and waited for me to take place next to him.
"Well, suddenly Mrs. Y/L/N's vital values went down rapidly. Actually.....Her conditions weren't good last weekend too."
"B-but...she was good last week...according to her circumstances of course..." I was afraid, to ask the one and only important question, but I needed to know it.
"H-How....H-How long does she still have?"
"I'm not sure...but when her values won't go up... maybe days...maybe some weeks...
We did all tests we could do, but we still can't find anything, she seemed healthy according to our tests and machines. And still she won't get better.."
"Oh no..." I was lost for words. The time was ticking and I was afraid that I won't make it in time. I was so close to fulfil her dream and still it felt so far away..I have to do it. She grew so close to me, it felt like she was part of my own family.
"So Hoseok. Please stay at her side for today. Wait until she will wake up and if something should happen, then call me. She is sleeping right now and needs some rest."
"Of course ..." I still had a blank expression on my face.
"Hoseok, don't think too much ok? She is an old woman with an incurable disease...Her time will end soon or later and we can't do anything against it."
"But still...you need to find the cause!"
"I know, I know..We do our best and everything, what possible with our power, so please wait a bit" The doctor tried to stay neutral as possible. These words sounded like they were memorized for every occasion. It was making me angry but I needed to be calm for Mrs. Y/L/N.
He walked away and left me alone.
I entered her room seeing the room number 666 again. 'Definitely not a lucky number' I thought.
Closing the door as quietly as possible, I turned back to her. The room was dimmed. Mrs. Y/L/N was laying in her bed peacefully. Her thorax was going up and down in a normal speed. On her face was a mask, she got put on the respirator.
I was tearing up again, it hurt me to see her like that. She was such a lovely and energetic old women, when she had one of her good days.
What will happen, when she will wake up again?
Who is going to tell her, that she will die any moment ?...
I put a chair next to her bed and sat down, grabbing her right hand with my left hand and stroking my thump over the back of it...
I sat there for hours, just watching her chest going up and down. Watching over her made me a bit tired.
Suddenly my phone buzzed in my pocket.
It was Y/N. My eyes widen and the tiredness disappeared like it never was there at the first place.

J-Hooope☆: Well, not so good and yours ?
♡ANGELIC~Y/N~♡: What? What happened? Are you okey?😰I mean if you don't wanna talk about it than it's fine too, but maybe you will feel better then..
♡ANGELIC~Y/N~♡: Well my day is awesome, I didn't need to work today, so I stayed a home and had finally some time for my hobbies.😍
J-Hooope☆: Well...I'm currently working and the patient I was taking care, suddenly felt worse and worse. I'm watching over her right now while she is sleeping....The doctor said she will leave our world soon..
I couldn't tell her that the person I was talking about, was her grandmother. Not yet. Either she won't believe me or her world would break down. I couldn't risk that.
♡ANGELIC~Y/N~♡: Oh god, Hobi, I'm sorry. How long is the person going to live? If I can ask...
J-Hooope☆: I don't know. The doctor said ..days or weeks. It depends on when and if she will wake up.
I'm always faced with old people.
People die in here.
But this patient grew so close to my heart...It makes me sad seeing her in this stage..

I was so shocked. That I didn't noticed something important at the first sign.
The painting itself.
There was an old Japanese garden with a small lake in the center of it.
A small footbridge went as zig-zag design right into the middle of the lake.
It looks like it could break any moment if you would try to walk on it.
The small bridge was made out of old wood ended right infront of an old pavilion.
Made of wood too.
The pavilion was surrounded by clear water. Some beautiful waterlilies were floating on it. The sun was going down in the background in beautiful red, orange and yellow colours.
In the sky there were some birds flying around in small groups.
Around the lake, on the right and on the left you could see huge trees.
They looked old, like they lived thousands of years there. They collected stories of people, stories of the act of nature.
But of what did it remind me of..WAIT...don't tell me-!?! I had the theory that this painting was a the garden, which I always visited with Namjoon, when I felt down. But it couldn't be the same one. It would be to coincidentally..right?
J-Hooope☆: This picture...somehow it seems familiar to me. Like I've already saw this garden somewhere else before.
♡ANGELIC~Y/N~♡: Well, it was a memory from my past. I loved that garden when I was younger. And before I forget it I wanted to put in a picture.
J-Hooope☆: Why didn't you just drive back there and take a picture then?
♡ANGELIC~Y/N~♡: tahts because...While I was drawing it, I recalled a lot of memories from my childhood. I connect a lot of emotion and memories with that, so that's why it was so important to me to draw it by myself.
But I wasn't satisfied with it. I couldn't really express the feelings, which were deep down in my heart.
That's why I started to dance as alternative. I wanted to express my feelings with my body.
And what kind of dance I do, you are asking? Starting from modern dance to hip hop, I almost love to dance every kind. I learned them all. Doesn't matter how I was feeling in that moment, I could find the right kind of dance to express, what was going on in my mind.
J-Hooope☆: Oh wow...Y/N. I'm speechless. I hope I can see you dancing someday. 😳I would love to see it. And who knows, maybe we can try out to dance to a song togehter. That would be so much fun for sure.😃

I focused back on Mrs. Y/L/N. She was still sleeping like a baby. I smiled at her and rubbed her hand again. Suddenly I felt a grip on my hand. I looked into her face with the hope she would wake up. But nothing happened. Probably just instinctly grabbing something around her.
"You know what, Mi Jung..", I started to speak in a calm voice," I don't know if you will hear me ... but I need to tell you something. I can't bear it with me anymore. I want share the news with you...."
"Mi Jung...your granddaughter is alive. I met her yesterday. I think it's her. She might have another name and look a bit different, but the way she behaves and speaks, I'm 100% sure, that's this woman is your lovely granddaughter.
I will meet her again the day after tomorrow and I will tell her about you and your wish...so please endure a little bit more. Please get well again..."
The beeping sound of the heart rhythm machine started to ring out faster for a moment. I let out a small chuckle.
"Of course it makes you happy. So please wake up soon." I said happily.
