Midoriya looked down as he held your handkerchief within his palm and fingertips. Your handkerchief was soft and smooth, a cloth made in silk and cotton.

He wondered, does your hand feels the same? But he soon dismissed the idea, shaking his thoughts off his reddened head as he continued to follow you to the infirmary and stuffed the handkerchief in his pocket.

You opened the door and let him in, closing it behind you as you gestured him to sit on the chair across yours. When he sat, he chuckled and looked around while you pulled the drawer open to get the bandages.

He spoke as he wandered his eyes around the infirmary. "I could get used to this. This is my second time here since we met."

You growled, flicking his forehead while he cried out in pain, hands were flying to protect his forehead even though it was already too late to protect it.

"W-Why did you d-do that?!" He babbled as he clumsily rubbed his forehead, pouting childishly and cutely while you stared at him in surprise, slightly blushing.

Damn it, what?!

"B-Because—" You bit your lower lip as you stuttered, words stumbling and rolling frantically around your head, along with the image of him pouting like a cute puppy.

Shaking your head, you lifted your index finger and pointed at him. "Every time you go here with an injury, I swear I'll do it again!" You forced your tone to be commanding and intimidating but you couldn't help but to let your embarrassment slip as your voice squeaked in the edge of your tone.

He bowed as his shoulders shook in slight laughter, his uninjured hand covering his mouth. "T-That's indeed a v-very scary punishment n-now that you say it—"

You sighed as you furrowed your brows into a frown, lips curled in a twisted up smile. Although your voice was stern and serious, you couldn't help but sprinkle a bit of irritation and humor as you insisted him.

"Even with a squeaky voice, I'm serious, Midoriya. You couldn't just let yourself be injured and let me heal you. There are times that..." You paused and blinked as you tone dropped flat and low, looking down to your lap and your hands clenched into a fist. "...times that I can't heal you."

Midoriya read the atmosphere quite well as he worriedly looked at you. He was worried about the sudden change of your tone and your expression as if you were reminded of something horrible.

You couldn't see his expression but you were surprised when his uninjured hand held your clenched hand, squeezing it in reassurance. Your face flushed several shades of red as you lifted your gaze, seeing Midoriya smiling softly to you.

"I promised something to you, (Y/N)-san. And I'm so happy that you care for me even if we just met!"

He lifted your fisted hands, uncurling it and gently touching your fingertips to relax and to calm you.

"So don't worry and don't be tensed because of me. I promised that I won't put myself in such a high risk. But technically, I still can risk myself right? Not that just much. Hehe..." You were about to retort back when he suddenly said something with a smile, soft and genuine.

"After all, heroes have to risk themselves to save someone right?"

Your gaze darkened as you looked at your hand held within his and slowly nodded. "I understand."

Then he froze, eyeing his hands that was gently holding yours. All of a sudden, he scrambled out, letting go of your hand as if what he just held was something he shouldn't touch. When you looked up to him, you saw him blushing—like really red as if he was a tomato. He kept his hands on his lap and it was turned into a fist like he was keeping his hands from touching yours. And you admit...

...it was so cute.

"I-I-I wasn't—I d-didn't—I-I just wanted to reassure y-you that e-everything's f-fine! I-I'm so sorry!" You chuckled as you shook your head, waving your hands.

"No, no... I don't mind it. Besides, it's okay." You intertwined your own hands with the same warmth you felt back at the beach was lingering, stronger than before and it's making your gut lightly twist into knots, your heart was hammering against your ribs. Not literally though, but figuratively.

You held out your hand and gesture for him to take it. But before he could hold your hand with his uninjured one, you said, "The injury. I need to heal it."

He shyly nodded, drawing back his other hand before holding out his injured finger, placing his palm over yours. His gesture was almost hesitant and nervous, but you gently held it to reassure him.

Then you put your palm over his hand, like a sandwich and let your strength flow into your skin. A warm light emitted from your hands, soft and not that bright—almost like a fire's light but color blue. Midoriya shivered as he felt the tingling sensation coming out of your fingertips.

"Your hands are soft and warm...softer than your handkerchief," Midoriya mumbled as he stared softly at your hands. You blinked, tilting your head as you looked at him confusedly.

"Uh...Come again?"

Midoriya soon realized that he said his thoughts out loud, causing him to shriek and he frantically shook his head in hope to dismiss the idea.

"N-Nothing!" You thoughtfully hummed, expression softening as you stared at your hands that were healing his.

My hands, huh...

You totally heard him by the way. You just wanted to tease him about saying it again, but it would be bad to push him to say it again. You opened your hands and saw his finger already healed before you got the bandage and wrapped it in his finger. And by the time you were done, you huffed and lazily leaned back to your chair before letting go of his fully healed hand.

"It was more injured than I thought it would be." You sighed, slumping your shoulders while Midoriya looked at you, worry and guilt were plastered on his face.

"U-Um...Are you okay, (Y/N)-san?"

You nodded, closing your eyes as you yawned. "Unlike grandma, my quirk relies on my own strength and stamina in order to be given..."

You paused and opened your eye before squinting them in thought, "Let's see... Imagine a game. Unlike others who use physical quirks using MP, I use my own HP to give them HP."

Midoriya's eyes widened in shock. "Then—" You immediately shook your head.

"It's okay. I just get tired, that's all. It's not a big deal, I just need to sleep to regain my strength back. Besides, it's not your fault that I'm this tired... I had to re-study all the lessons I need to teach. So I may have pulled an all-nighter yesterday."

You drowsily placed your cheeks on your palm, eyes were half-lidded and shoulders tiredly slumped. Midoriya pursed his lips. "I'm so so—" "Ah, that shit again!" You groaned, exasperatedly rubbing your face with your hands. "I already said that this is my job. Don't apologize."

"But—"

"Bapapapab—no buts." You waved him away, turning to your desk as you lied your head within your arms, tiredly mumbling. "Go now, seaweed. Let me pass out for a sec."

His brows furrowed in worry as he stood up to look at you. "Okay then...have a good nap." You just lazily groaned in response, your voice was muffled with your face planted within your arms.

Little did you know, before Midoriya left, he put a blanket around your petite frame and left you a letter written in a small sticky note.

"(Y/N). Oi, (Y/N). Wake up...(Y/N)!"

"DON'T DISHTURB MEH AND MAH SHEEWEED!!" Your head bolted upwards as you screamed when you suddenly woke up, immediately looking around for anything that caused your wake. You deeply growled in irritation but stopped when you turned your head to your back, seeing Aizawa and Yamada behind you.

"Sleeping in the middle of your work? That's quite irresponsible." Aizawa deadpanned.

You groaned and once again lied your head on the desk, your hair sprawled all over it. "I'm just 15 years old, give me some fucking slack."

Yamada roared a laugh as you said that, patting your back as if reassuring you. "It's fine, young hero. WE WILL GIVE YOU TIME TO REST, BUT ARE YOU READY FOR SOME PARTY?!"

You were just silent as you lifted your head to give Yamada a 'seriously?' look, eyes narrowed and brows furrowed in exhaustion.

"You're not worse than me, so stand up and let's go to the teachers meeting," Aizawa said as he walked out of the infirmary, while you groaned and groggily stood up, the blanket that was draped on your shoulders falling in the process.

You blinked in confusion, looking at the blanket that fell on the floor. Then you turned to Yamada.

"Hey, Yamada-sensei...Did you place that on me?" You asked, pointing at the blanket on the floor. Yamada gave you a confused look, raising an eyebrow as he crossed your arms.

"No, I didn't."

You hummed in curiosity as you bend to pick the blanket and turned to Yamada. "I'll catch up to the conference room, see you there."

Yamada grinned and gave you a cheery thumbs up before shouting. "SEE YOU THERE THEN! YAHOO!" Then he went out of the infirmary, leaving you alone.

You folded the blanket and put it on the cabinet where the extra blankets and bed covers were placed before going to your desk to get all your stuff that was needed for the meeting. The time you turned to the corner of your desk, you saw a small sticky note placed on the top of it.

'Thanks for healing me, (Y/N)-san. We will see each other tomorrow, and I'll treat you lunch to pay you back! I'll come here to the infirmary at lunch, I hope you'll be here by that time!

-Midoriya Izuku'

Reading the note made your lips curl into a light smile, eyes were soft and cheeks were lightly flushed.

"Hello, dear. Why are you smiling there, hm?" You squeaked as you were surprised by your grandmother's sudden appearance. She just got here as she closed the door behind her. She was smiling at you, hoping for an answer.

"Nothing important." You said, trying to shake off the note that was given to you as you neatly folded it and stuffed it in your pocket.

"Not important, huh? Is the young boy not important to you?"

"He's...a friend. And yeah, he's important." It took you a second to realize what you said, but you quickly turned to your grandmother. You were a blushing mess, but you calmly but sternly added, "...but not that important..."

Your grandmother laughed amusingly, plopping herself on her own chair. "If you say so, (Y/N)."

You gave your grandmother a look and sighed. "Ma..."

She stared at you as you gathered your papers, then suddenly said, "Take care of the young boy, (Y/N)." Then her brows furrowed in worry, lips were slightly curled into a slight frown, "He is, after all, All Might's successor."

You froze and your eyes widened in disbelief and surprise. "Wait..."

You averted your gaze back to your grandmother, mouth was gaping in the process. "...what? Midoriya is...what?"

"He's All Might's successor, (Y/N). All Might gave him his power and he was the one All Might choose." You sat back at your chair as you cast your gaze down to the floor, face was still twisted in shock and disbelief.

"But that doesn't mean that you have to spoil him, (Y/N)." You turned your head towards her as her tone changed from worry to stern. Your grandmother was frowning and was serious, you can tell by her looks that you need to take heed of what she will say.

"Just because you can heal him without having his own stamina to lose, it doesn't mean that you'll always heal him. You need to refrain your healing sometimes because it could be also dangerous to you, okay?" You nodded in understanding, slightly bowing.

"I understand."

Your grandmother sighed and hopped off her chair and tapped your back. "It's fine to rely on me, okay dear?"

You faced her and nodded, slightly smiling as you replied, "Thanks, Ma. I'll keep that in mind."

I have to keep my promise inside my mind too.
