Dexter POV
I was walking about a few days later sorting out my usual killing spree, and picking up a few things Slenderwoman needed for me to get. Which reminds me, I gotta plan the wedding with Ann soon. What sort of fiancee would I be if I had a shitty wedding for her? I made a mental note to talk to Slenderwoman and Ann about the location and time and everything else we'd need. Suddenly I heard screaming and ran to take a look. I saw someone on their back writhing in agony as someone else was biting into their stomach and tearing out their guts.
Upon further look, I realised something. The person had brown hair and brown eyes and their teeth were razor sharp and covered with blood. Soon their victim stopped writhing and died. I watched as the attacker slowly removed the organs and stayed hidden as they began to slowly devour the intestines. Not gonna lie, I've got a taste for organs too. But I'm more of a human flesh kind of guy. Soon the attacker looked at my hiding spot and their face shocked me. My little brother Thomas, alive again. I'd normally be happy if I hadn't seen him disembowel someone just now. Right now I was wondering as to what happened to him. He looked at me with an insane grin.
I slowly removed my mask and stepped forward to him. He seemed to eye me like I was some sort of really expensive and tender meat. It made me shiver. I cleared my throat
"Thomas?", I said with a small amount of curiosity and fear. Thomas looked shocked at my voice
"Dexter?", he said with his eyes wide open. I could tell he was in disbelief.
"I thought you were dead", we both said at the same time
He ran towards me and I closed my eyes thinking he'd try to eat me. Instead he hugged me tightly. I hugged him back, and I thought I could hear him crying. He looked at me and he actually was crying. I gently wiped his tears away and held him close, tears of my own threatening to spill.
"I can't believe you're alive", Thomas said with a sniffle. I stroked his hair the same way I used to when we were kids. It was his favourite method of relaxing. I guess it's just the brother bond we had for so long. I kissed his forehead and held him close to me.
"I can't believe you're alive either. How?", I asked him. He looked down and I could tell I'd struck a nerve by accident because his tears were back.
"I was resurrected by some sort of ritual, one that gave me this taste for flesh and organs. The people who resurrected me used me as a slave. A lapdog. A fucking disposal unit for the corpses of their kills!!!!", he said getting angrier each second. He then continued, while holding me tightly.
"But I killed them all one day and ran off. I spent my life feeding off corpses, fresh or stale. Raw or cooked. It was my only food source. I tried tree leaves but they were too bland. I soon learned about cooking after watching some people cooking what looked like a pig on a fire. While the flesh tastes better cooked, the organs are much tastier raw. I've become known as Cannibalistic Thomas due to my taste for the flesh of anyone I see.", he explained. I held him close and he buried his head into my shoulder, both of us holding each other close. I decided to tell him about how I came back to life
"When that storm that killed everyone struck the town, it also struck something in the soil of my grave and I came back as this. It didn't feel right at first, but I got used to it. I stole a few things and made a new identity for myself. I became known as Dexter the Psycho. I met someone called Ann, who treated the wounds I had and cleaned the scars I'd suffered and took me to this mansion where I became a member of their family. I'm sure they'd welcome you too", I told him. He looked at me with hopeful eyes
"You really think so?", he asked. I smiled and nodded, before he went back and finished eating the corpse. Once he'd done that, he hopped onto my back and I picked up my mask. Placing my mask back on, I carried Thomas to the house on my back. Upon arrival everyone was surprised at the new person.
"Everyone this is my little brother Thomas. Or as he calls himself, Cannibalistic Thomas.", I introduced him. Slenderwoman took Thomas into another room to learn more about him and what he mainly eats. She told him about my cooking and I heard Thomas saying that despite his appetite for flesh mainly, he loved my cooking back when me and him were alive and before we became what we are now. Sally heard about Thomas' appetite for flesh and began to whimper. I went over to her to comfort her
"It's ok Sally. Thomas won't hurt anyone here. He only eats flesh because it's a side effect of what brought him back. It's not his fault.", I said placing a hand on her shoulder. She nodded and went to go talk to Lazari. Those two were good friends now. After Thomas and Slenderwoman had finished talking, I went to talk with her about the wedding plan.
"We've got a large place ready. Benny is getting the decorations and food we need through her own sneaky methods and we've made sure it's about the time of sunset. So you can get a wonderful view of the horizon as you get married", she explained. I thanked her and went to Ann. She wasn't paying much attention, so I snuck up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist taking her by surprise
"Hey love", I whispered into her ear. She turned around and we removed our masks and kissed, before we headed into our room. We'd decided not to 'have some fun' before the wedding. That way, it'd be so much better once we were husband and wife. I cuddled up to her and held her close. She cupped my cheek gently in her hand and kissed me as we settled to sleep. God I love Ann. And I'm gonna make sure she gets the best life she deserves
