You groan as you lay in bed an annoying cast stuck on your leg that makes it almost impossible to get totally comfortable. You let out a huff as you move around trying to find the perfect spot until a noise makes you jump out of surprise.
"Do you want me to get you another pillow or blanket?" asks Jack from the doorway of your bedroom making you jump as you had not noticed him there
Jack has been fussing over you making sure you have everything you want or need. Part of you is annoyed by Jack's actions another part is sort of happy about them. You wouldn't admit it to anyone especially Dean, who you knew would tease the hell out of you.
"Um, no, I'm good Jack. It's just hard to get comfortable with my cast." You explain
"Oh, I see. I wish there is something I could about that." says Jack softly
You were hurt pretty badly during the last hunt besides just the broken leg you left the hospital with quite few stitches. To be honest, Jack thought you were going to bleed out before they even made it to the hospital. There was just so much blood everywhere. It scared Jack, it really scared him.
Jack has feelings for you and to see you so close to death freaked him out. He just felt some kind of need to be around you to make sure you are okay and that you are alive.
"Is there anything I can do?" adds Jack with a curious look thinking that maybe there is actually something that he can do to make you comfortable
"No, Jack, unfortunately, there isn't." You answer softly
Jack looks upset at your words and can see he even looks a bit disappointed he can't help you. He doesn't know how to heal others yet.
"But...you can keep me company and watch a movie with me." You say with a small smile on your face trying to direct Jack's attention away from the fact he can't help you with this
A huge smile forms on Jack's face at your words.
"I can definitely do that." says Jack happily rushing towards you
Jack quickly joins you in your bed as you continue to search through Netflix.
"What do you want to watch?" You ask looking over at him
"Can we watch....that one movie with the blue alien dog looking thing that hangs out with the Hawaiian girl?" asks Jack not knowing what the movie is called
"You mean...Lilo and Stitch?" You question as you search for it
"Yeah, that's it." answers Jack with a small smile as he nods his head in confirmation
You could see how excited Jack is which in return makes you excited since somehow Jack's happiness is contagious. You give him a smile before you click the movie on.
You fall asleep halfway through the movie with your head resting on Jack's chest. You finally were totally comfortable.
I guess there was something I could do after all. Thinks Jack as he gently runs his fingers through your y/h/c hair
Jack slides out of the bed a little after the movie ended since he was feeling a bit hungry.
Jack starts to pad past by the library until Dean calling him stops him.
"Yeah." says Jack stepping into the library to see Dean and Sam packing a bag with weapons
"We leave in a one hour we got a hunt in Louisiana." Dean informs Jack not even bothering to look away from the weapons
"What? We can't leave Y/N here alone." protests Jack as if Dean was crazy for even thinking that
Both Winchesters look up from where they are packing to look at the Nephilim.
"Jack, it's just a broken leg. Y/N will be fine, she can get around with her crutches. She'll be okay for a few days without us." explains Sam trying to calm the younger boy's nerves
"What if somebody breaks into the bunker? How is she going to kick their butt like normal with a cast on? What if she falls and hurts herself more? Who is going to help her then?" rambles Jack, who is scared of leaving you alone
"Okay, okay, buddy, you can stay here and we will go on the hunt." says Dean
"Great." says Jack feeling a lot better as he relaxes before he walks away
"What was that?" asks Dean to Sam with a confused look
"I have no clue." answers Sam also with a perplexed look
You are still sound asleep when Sam walks into your room to inform you that Dean and he are leaving for a hunt.
"Y/N?" asks Sam placing a hand on your shoulder shaking you slightly
You groan before your eyes flutter open.
"Yes." You groan out before you turn to look at Sam Winchester
"Hey, Dean and I are going on a hunter, we'll be back in a few days but Jack is going to stay here with you." Sam informs you
"I'll be fine, Jack can go with you guys if you want. I don't need a babysitter." You say thinking that the brothers are making Jack stay behind to take care of you
You know how much Jack loves tagging alone on hunts and how he has been begging the two to let him actually do more on the hunts besides research.
"Maybe you can tell him that, Jack's the one that said he had to stay behind." says Sam making your face contort to one of confusion
"What?" You ask with clear perplex in your voice
"Yeah, is there something you're hiding from us? Is the leg worse than we thought?" asks Sam with a worried look
"No, it's not." You answer honestly quickly causing Sam's worries to melt away
"Well, we got to head out but maybe you should talk to Jack. He seems a bit freaked out that you got injured." says Sam
"Yeah, I will." You say with a nod of your head
A little bit later, you use your crutches to make your way down to the kitchen as you are a bit hungry. Your stomach grumbles a little while you make your way into the kitchen which Jack hears.
"Y/N!" says Jack surprised to see you up and around
"Hey, Jack, I'm just getting a snack." You say as you attempt to make your way to the fridge until Jack stepping in front of you stops you from going any farther
"You should sit down I don't want you to slip and fall. The doctor said you shouldn't be up right now. You're supposed to be in bed resting, Then you'll be even more hurt. I'll get the food for you." says Jack with clear worry in his eyes as well as his voice
"Jack, are okay?" You ask as you notice the true, pure worry in his eyes
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine...just sit down." says Jack trying to usher you to a chair at the small table
"I'm not sitting down on until you tell me what's going on." You say standing your ground not letting him push you to the table
"How about you sit down and then I'll answer?" bargains Jack hesitantly
You give in once you look into Jack's eyes to see how worried he is that you'll get hurt.
"Deal." You answer with a nod
You make your way to the chair with Jack watching ready to catch you if you start to fall.
You sit down on the chair and you could see Jack visibly relax.
"Now, it's time for you to hold up your side of the bargain." You say as you look at Jack expectantly
"I'm....I'm fine...it's just-I got scared." admits Jack softly almost like he just said something he wasn't supposed to
"Scared of what Jack?" You ask not sure what he means by his confession
"I just got scared when you got hurt because I-It made me think about how much I would miss you and how sad I would be without you here......It also made me realize that I might lose you without telling you how I feel. So if I can help it, you aren't getting hurt any more. So that makes-" starts Jack until he stops when you stand
"Y/N, we made a deal your promise you would sit down if I-" says Jack as you start to hobble over to him until you start to fall which is when Jack quickly speeds to stop you
Jack grabs your shoulders quickly balancing you. Before Jack can give you a lecture on not using your crutches, you start talking.
"I have feelings for you too, Jack." You admit with a grin
"What?" asks Jack feeling as if all the air has left his lungs
"I like you Jack more than a friend like you." You repeat slower along with a small chuckle
A huge grin makes it's way onto Jack's face at your words.
"Can-Can I kiss you?" asks Jack hesitantly a little worried still that you might say no
Your grin widens at his question.
"Yes, Jack, you can kiss me." You answer while leaning up
Jack, then, quickly presses his lips to your gently. A warm feeling quickly spreads between the two of you, a comforting, light warmth that you melt into. Your lips move in sync as you both smile into the lips. Sadly though the moment is ruined when you almost fall from balancing on one leg. Jack quickly scoops you up into his arms stopping you from falling.
"I guess...I literally fell for you." You say after a few seconds of silence
Jack and you both laugh at your words before he connects his lips are back to yours.
Hmm, I guess breaking my leg isn't such the worse thing ever after all.

I hate that we have to wait a few months for Season 14, I really want to see more of Jensen in that suit! He looked really good and I need to know what will happen with everything.
